A wheelchair is more than mobility. It's independence, dignity, and access to life.

In Gaza, many people with disabilities have lost their wheelchairs during displacement, conflict, and destruction. Others are forced to use damaged or unsafe mobility devices, leaving them unable to access food, healthcare, water, or basic services.

Together, we can provide new wheelchairs and repair damaged ones, helping vulnerable individuals regain freedom of movement and restore hope during one of the world's most devastating humanitarian crises.

Give Mobility and Restore Dignity in Gaza

Imagine being unable to leave your shelter. Unable to reach food distributions. Unable to access medical care. Unable to move through streets damaged by conflict and rubble.

For many people living with disabilities in Gaza, this is their daily reality.

Years of conflict have devastated hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and essential services throughout Gaza. Families who have already lost their homes and livelihoods are now struggling to care for loved ones who have lost the mobility aids they depend on every day.

Many wheelchairs have been destroyed, damaged beyond repair, or abandoned during repeated displacement.

As a result, some individuals remain completely immobile while others are forced to use unsafe and broken equipment.

Our Response

Through this Emergency Medical Aid initiative, we will:

Provide New Wheelchairs

Distribute new wheelchairs to vulnerable individuals with mobility disabilities in Gaza.

Repair Existing Wheelchairs

Collect damaged wheelchairs whenever possible and repair them through local rehabilitation workshops.

Extend Impact

Redistribute repaired wheelchairs to additional individuals in need, maximizing every donation and strengthening local capacity.

This sustainable approach helps more people while supporting local rehabilitation services.

Who Will Benefit?

Priority will be given to:

• Children with disabilities
• Elderly individuals
• Women with mobility impairments
• Internally displaced persons (IDPs)
• Individuals with severe mobility challenges
   

The project will directly support people living in some of Gaza's most affected areas, including North Gaza and Gaza City
