This Dhul Hijjah, while millions prepare for the most sacred days of the year, many revert women are quietly facing isolation, hardship and emotional struggle alone.

As the need for support continues to grow, Solace is receiving more requests for help than ever before,  from women navigating life after shahadah without family support, financial stability or a community to turn to. 

In 2025 alone: 

• Nearly 2,000 revert women and children were directly supported 
• 1,273 sisters reached out for help- almost 4 new requests every day 
• 45% of support cases were for emotional wellbeing 
• 544 sisters received emotional and spiritual support  

On 21st June,  Aliyah Umm Raiyaan and Solace will be climbing Mount Snowdon to mark ‘World Muslim Convert Day’, and raise £50,000 in support of revert women.

Because becoming Muslim is just the beginning. And for many revert women, it's the start of walking this new journey alone. 

Solace is a UK-registered charity dedicated to supporting revert women facing difficulties beyond the shahadah for over 15 years. They provide essential services such as 1:1 support, Financial aid, Islamic will writing, and marriage support - whether they have been Muslim for 2 weeks or 20 years. Many revert women struggle alone, suffer in silence, or even question their faith due to life's challenges. Solace ensures they are never left without the support they need.
