Protect Muslim Students on Campuses Across the Nation!

Amid the ongoing genocide in Palestine, MSA National has been on the front lines to support and empower Muslim students across the United States and Canada in advocating for a free Palestine. From 1-on-1 calls with MSA chapters to develop public statements, to organizing volunteers and buses for the Nationwide March for Gaza, MSA National has worked tirelessly to pursue justice for the Palestinian cause. In addition to student advocacy, MSA National has also worked to highlight and increase reporting on Islamophobia on campuses, developed toolkits for student advocacy, and hosted trainings for various advocacy initiatives including how to phonebank – all, free of charge.

Muslim students face hate crimes and discrimination, emotional distress, worsening mental health, and safety concerns on their very own campuses. Because of their unwavering support of Palestine, Muslim students are being doxxed, losing job offers, and feeling isolated by campus administrators. We at MSA National are facing a desperate need to expand our operational capacity to increase our direct support for student services and develop sustainable resources to protect Muslim students on campuses across the continent. With your support, we can further our on-campus education efforts, expand and enhance security for our students, and so much more!

About Us

Established in January 1963, the Muslim Students Association of the U.S. & Canada (MSA National) has continued to serve Muslim students as early as high school, college and university careers by facilitating their efforts to establish, maintain and develop local MSA chapters. We envision a unifying movement, rooted in the deen, of all Muslim Student Associations, cultivating safe and transformative spaces for all Muslims on campus and continuing to serve the Ummah beyond graduation.

MSA National was first established at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign by a conference of Muslim students from around the U.S. and Canada. MSA National has been a uniting forum for Muslim students from diverse backgrounds for over 60 years. It continues its mission of meeting the needs of Muslim youth on campus with the zeal and energy of the Muslim students but requires the support of the larger community.
