For some people, UKeff is a life-line at the lowest point in their lives, where other suport has been exhausted or non-existent. UKeff stand side-by-side with the vulnerable and oppressed in our community, offering hope and assistance to enable that person to move from dependence to independence. UKeff is a UK registered charity, number 1150921.
We are based in Oldham but our work covers all of Greater Manchester and beyond. Amongst those we help are those who are struggling financially, asylum seekers and refugees, domestic abuse victims, the homeless and those at risk of homelessness.
We campaign constantly to Keep Zakat Local - to fulfill the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace be upon him, and to care for our neighbours in need.
