“Whoever saves one life, it is as if he has saved all of mankind.” (Qur'an 5:32)
Sudan is facing a devastating humanitarian crisis during this sacred month. The conflict has plunged 24.6 million people—half the population—into severe food insecurity, with 638,000 enduring famine-like conditions. Over 70% of healthcare facilities have been destroyed or looted, leaving millions without access to critical medical care. Outbreaks of cholera, measles, and malaria have claimed thousands of lives, while malnutrition is ravaging children at alarming rates.
This funding will provide daily iftar to displaced families in Sudan addressing acute food insecurity. Expenses include Food Procurement, Transportation, and Meal Preparation.
The funding will enable lifesaving missions to underserved communities in Gibeet (Red Sea State), Al-Gadarif (Al-Gadarif State), and Kosti (White Nile State) in 2025. Each mission costs $15,000–$20,000, covering Medications and Medical Supplies, Lab Supplies, Transportation, Meals, and Accommodation. Through these missions, we will serve 5,000 to 6,000 patients.
1. Nourishing Bodies: SAMA Feeding Program
Since the start of the war, SAMA has been delivering daily fresh meals to the displaced and vulnerable communities in Sudan. We delivered over 863,000 meals to over 25,000 internally displaced persons covering five states (White Nile, Red Sea, Sinnar, Gadarif, Kassala).
Meals are prepared with local ingredients in partnership with local organizations, community members, and the displaced to support the local economy while addressing urgent hunger needs.
2. Saving Lives: Dr. Isam Osman Mobile Rescue Teams
The Dr. Isam Osman Mobile Rescue Teams are a lifeline for remote and underserved communities devastated by Sudan's ongoing conflict. These teams travel to areas where healthcare access is nearly nonexistent, offering free medical care, including diagnosis, investigations, and life-saving medications.
Teams consist of doctors, nurses, lab technicians, pharmacists, and volunteers who work together to deliver critical healthcare services.
Impactful Results:
Let your zakat, sadaqah, or donation become a source of hope for Sudan’s displaced families. Every dollar you give will feed the hungry, heal the sick, and revive hope in communities torn apart by conflict.
Your Generosity in Action:
Join SAMA’s mission today and multiply the blessings by sharing your compassion with those who need it most.

Eid Mubarak & thank you for saving thousands during Ramadan
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
My name is Mohamed Almahal, and I serve as the Executive Director of the Sudanese American Medical Association (SAMA). I’m reaching out to you personally with immense gratitude in my heart.
May Allah accept your fasting, prayers, and charity during Ramadan. May this Eid bring peace to your home, joy to your heart, and blessings to your family. Eid Mubarak to you and your loved ones.
A Thank You From Sudan to You
This Ramadan, your generosity was a mercy for many. On behalf of our brothers and sisters in Sudan, I say jazakum Allahu khayran for responding to their needs with such compassion and open hearts.
With your support, SAMA was able to provide daily iftar meals to over 6,000 internally displaced people in White Nile, Gedarif, Red Sea, and Khartoum states. These meals were more than just food—they were a reminder that our Ummah is one body, we care, and we act when others are in need.
You brought relief to the hungry, dignity to the displaced, and hope to the weary—all in the spirit of Ramadan. May Allah count it among your scale of good deeds on the Day of Judgment.
May Allah reward you abundantly, accept from you, and continue to use you as a source of khayr.
With heartfelt duaa and deep appreciation,
Mohamed Almahal

Your Sadaqah is Nourishing the Fasting in Sudan – Jazakum Allahu Khayran!
Dear Supporters,
Alhamdulillah, through your generous contributions, we continue to bring warmth and nourishment to our displaced brothers and sisters in Sudan during this sacred month. Your sadaqah is being delivered as daily iftars across four states—White Nile, Khartoum, Red Sea, and Gedarif—providing much-needed relief to families facing hardship.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever gives iftar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.” (Tirmidhi)
May Allah bless you abundantly, accept your charity, and multiply its rewards in this life and the Hereafter. Your kindness is not only filling stomachs but also bringing hope to those in need.
Jazakum Allahu khayran for being a source of mercy and relief. Please continue to support and spread the word—together, we can ease the burden of our brothers and sisters.
