Many have followed the journey of The MBB Academy for the last 2 years; from what started as a simple idea to the development of a state-of-the-art school in Berinden, The Gambia which has now enrolled 2 classrooms of children in grade 1 since October 2021.

This Ramadan, The 25 Campaign aims to raise £25,000 to cover both the refurbishment of the school and sponsorships of students (this includes the cost of school equipment as well as teachers salaries) and we need YOUR help. We will be opening up one more classroom and raise enough money to sponsor the children for another year of schooling. Please take the opportunity this Ramadan to support us in ensuring the future of our school children by donating to The 25 Campaign.

Narrated by Ibn Mas`ud: “I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, “There is no envy except in two: a person who God has given wealth and he spends it in the right way, and a person whom Allah has given wisdom (ie religious knowledge) and he gives His decisions accordingly and teaches it to the others.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 1409).
