Introduction 

Salaam! My name is Anab  Ali, and I am the founder and President of the Riyo Raac Foundation (RRF), based in Virginia. Established in 2020, Riyo Raac is a charitable organization with 501C3 tax-deductible status. Our foundation is dedicated to sponsoring and maintaining orphanage centers in Somalia, Somaliland, and we also support orphans in other countries, like Palestine, Ethiopia and others. We  provided  assistance to an orphanage/school in Ethiopia. Our orphan Centers need your financial support now. The first Al-Amal Orphanage centers were founded in 2012, we have added three more centers since then. Currently, there are more than 300 orphans in four different locations. We provide various support including but not limited to education, shelter food, and compassionate, loving environment. We could not have provided these services without the generosity of this community! we come back to you asking you to donate generously in this blessed month of Ramadan. Your Zakat and Sadaqa are what sustain these orphans in many places around the world.

Our Mission and Impact 

Since our inception, Riyo Raac has been a beacon of hope, touching the lives of countless individuals especially orphaned childern  in need. With your continued support, we've been able to extend our reach and impact across borders, providing essential services to orphans and other  vulnerable communities.

Supporting Orphanage Centers 

Our orphanage centers are home to over 300 children across four different locations. We go beyond providing basic necessities like shelter, food, and clothing; we also prioritize education, offering opportunities for academic advancement and personal growth. For over seven years, we've sponsored students to attend American standard high schools, and this June, we celebrate the graduation of two students whose journeys we've supported from the beginning. We are planning to send to them to college

Community Projects 

In addition to our work with orphanage centers, Riyo Raac has undertaken various projects aimed at improving the well-being of communities in Somalia, Somaliland, and beyond. From digging water wells in drought-stricken areas to providing medical equipment and infection control items to healthcare facilities, our foundation is committed to making a tangible difference in people's lives.

Education Initiatives 

One of our recent initiatives involved shipping donated laptops from America to students in our orphanage centers, furthering their educational opportunities and opening doors to a brighter future. However, sustaining these efforts comes with increasing monthly expenses. We must ensure we can continue to pay our teachers, cooks, and maintenance workers while providing the care and support our children need.

Education as a Priority 

Education is at the heart of our mission. In  a countries, where progress and development are key priorities, RRF plays a crucial role in supporting education initiatives. We believe that investing in education is investing in the future, and we are committed to providing the tools and resources necessary for students to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Community Engagement 

Our commitment to education extends beyond the classroom. Through community engagement activities such as workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns, we actively involve parents, teachers, and community members in the education process. By fostering a supportive ecosystem, we aim to empower young minds and encourage lifelong learning.

As our mission is to support orphanage centers and community projects continues to grow, so do our expenses. From providing daily meals and educational materials to maintaining safe and nurturing environments, the costs of running our programs add up quickly. Ensuring the well-being and education of over 300 children across multiple locations requires substantial financial support. However, with rising monthly expenses, we face the challenge of meeting these needs while maintaining the quality of care and education we strive to provide.
