Alhamdulillah, we are fairly new charity based at East riding of Yorkshire ( UK). We started our work due to lack of local facilities for Ramdan prayers , place for socialisation for  women and children and Quran language classes in 2016.

First year we hired local village hall for the whole  month of Ramdan and engaged with local community. Kids and women appreciated it so much that we also started regular language classes.

At the time of Covid-19 pandemic, we realize  we need our own place,   with the support from Almighty and the people he had chosen to help us we managed to raise funds to buy our property at a prime location in 2021.

The  year 2022-23  has been remarkable  for us as we continue to work on our charity owned community hub project. No one would have imagined that in such a short span of time, we would have been able to complete so much work  in East Riding of Yorkshire. 

We managed to get the Council approval, turning a 2-Bedroom bungalow into spacious hall to accommodate language classes for children , separate male & female Taraweeh  prayer areas etc. 

During the last years, we were able to: 

1. Install the boiler & radiators.
2. Wudu areas & Toilets for males & females.
3. Grounds clearance of 1.24 Acre of Land to allow for parking facilities on site.
4. Internal refurbishment & Carpeting.
5. Offering funeral payer & support to the Muslim families.
6. Turning the shed building into a conference room to offer services to the people.
7. Installation of Solar panels and planting over 200 trees  to make our building carbon neutral.
8. Charity summer walk to promote healthy community life style and raise funds for community and centre.

As our project continues to evolve, over the next few months – we plan to: 

1. Re-pay our debt ( qard-e - hasna) so that we can concentrate all our efforts in community development projects.
