The Shahed family experienced the tragic loss of their home in South Brunswick, NJ due to a fire during the afternoon of Monday June 15th. Saleem and Matina Shahed and their 2 children are all safe and unharmed. Their home, all of their possessions and clothing have been completely destroyed. They are long time ISCJ and NUI community members for over 20 years!
Funds collected will help their family transition into a new residence and help them with any emergency related expenses as they navigate these difficult period. Monies raised will aid in replacing items that they lost in the fire and with living expenses. The outpouring of donations toward this account will lift many burdens off of them over the coming weeks and months.
