Help Orphans and Support the Families of Five Local Women

This Ramadan, as we seek Allah’s mercy, let’s extend it to those in desperate need: orphans, young new mothers, struggling Muslim youth, single immigrant parents, and families in crisis. 

We are not just providing temporary aid, we are building real solutions for real people in our community and beyond. With your support, we can feed orphans, uplift struggling women, and establish the Northside’s first-ever dedicated Muslim community center.

You can help in three different ways:
 

1. Sponsor an Orphan’s Meals & Eid Essentials ($500 per child):

This Ramadan, you can sponsor a child’s Suhoor, Iftar, and dinner for the entire month for just $500.
Every child, no matter their circumstances, deserves the gift of nourishment, dignity and happiness.
 

At an orphanage in India, many Muslim children rely on charitable support for their daily meals. But they deserve more than just food. Your donation will also provide:
✅ Eid clothes so they can celebrate with joy
✅ Toys and books to brighten their days
✅ Daily essentials like shoes, school supplies, and hygiene kits

 

2. Supporting Five Local Women & Their Families

Many struggling women in our own community here in Chicago receive little to no assistance. Unlike organizations that provide only temporary aid, we focus on long-term impact—covering rent, groceries, and basic needs while connecting them to resources for stability.

Case Studies (Zakat-eligible) - These Are Their Real Struggles:

• A young mother with an 8-month-old baby, 5 months pregnant, has no job or family support. Her husband is incarcerated on domestic violence charges, leaving her in a desperate situation. Her father is paralyzed, and she is his only child.

• A mother of six children, including a baby with health concerns. Her elderly husband cannot work full-time, and she was the primary breadwinner. After giving birth, she is struggling to pay rent and meet basic needs.

• A Syrian refugee family. The father drives for Uber but faces costly car repairs and heavy debt. The mother has health issues and cannot work. Two children attend MCC Academy with partial support, but the family still owes significant tuition. Their youngest, three years old has delayed speech and needs to stay home because there are no resources to send him to school.

• A man who moved to the U.S. last year and lives with his disabled wife and three children. Despite working full-time without assistance, he struggles financially, has no health insurance, and faces large medical bills. He is applying for coverage and Medicaid, while government limits additional work. Their children attend public school, and he cooks at home. They have no family or community support.

• More Families: Each has a unique story of hardship. Your support can bring them relief and stability this Ramadan.

Your Sadaqah and Zakat directly support these initiatives:

✅ $50 – Support Islamic Educators that dedicate themselves to teaching Islam.

✅ $100 – A general donation to aid the rent and running of our community center.

✅ $250 – Help support a single mother with groceries and rent.

✅ $500 – Feed an orphan for the ENTIRE month of Ramadan + provide Eid clothes & gifts

✅ $1,000 – Donate to Single Mothers and Orphans, helping them cover rent and groceries.

3. Building the First Northside Muslim Community Center 
 

For too long, the Northside (IL) has lacked a safe, Islamic space for children to play, learn, and build friendships in a nurturing environment. There is a large Muslim population yet almost no accommodations tailored for Muslim use. We hosted pop-up events to gauge interest in the community. They were sold out immediately, with 600 potential members interested in a community space.

Jannah Circle is creating a first-of-its-kind community center, ensuring that:

✅ Kids have a fun, welcoming space to learn about their Deen
✅ Mothers find support and connection instead of isolation
✅ Muslim youth battling anxiety & loneliness have a place to belong
✅ Single and divorced parents, especially immigrant mothers, have access to real support

This center isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity. Let’s build it together.
