Due to the global pandemic, families at risk face challenges in supporting the household income. Empowerment aspire to foster financial independence in individuals in need, we teach them skillsets such as sewing and baking. We are crowdfunding to procure raw ingredients, baking accessories and tools to support the classes. From cookies baked, all proceeds go to the ladies to support their livelihood.

During these troubled times, many look out for a method to make a living but faced with impeding challenges of capital fund and ‘where to start’?. Empowerment programme provides a platform for the individual at risk to attend skill set classes such as baking and sewing. Supported by our volunteer trainers, trainees are able to learn skills that fosters financial independence in them. From items produced along with the support by the network of volunteers, all proceeds go to the trainees to support their livelihood.

The biggest impact a donor can provide is Hope. With the support of kind donors, donations received will keep the classes on-going thus providing an income support to the trainees.

Throughout Empowerment programme, we are changing lives of 143 participants with a total of 15,414 products made and RM85,969 income generated.

We aspire to fundraise a total of RM20,000.

RM16,000 to procure raw ingredients, baking accessories and tools to support the classes.

RM4,000 for maintenance and operation cost of Empowerment premise to cater to classes.

Any amount donated will provide hope and support to our classes.
