Inash Al-Usra Association was founded in 1965 by a group of volunteers headed by the late activist Samiha Khalil. It aims at empowering Palestinian women and serving various sectors of the community. 

This campaign has one goal: to support the Palestinian Girl’s house of Inash Al Usra. They are in need of a new electrical panel for the house, and the cost is $14,850 USD. Please support our campaign and donate generously to complete the renovations on the girls house.

About Inash Al-Usra Association

Inash Alusra Society is a non-profit, developmental, charitable women’s organization, established in the city of Al-Bireh in 1965 as an initiative led by a group of volunteer Palestinian women, headed by the late Mrs. Samiha Khalil.

For more than 55 years, these have been the founding objectives for  Inash Al-Usra: 

1. Care for women and their active role in building society, as well as training them in a profession that allows them to take on this role in developing society and their families.
2. Pay attention to children and care for them, as they are the nation’s hope and future.
3. Stand by our Palestinian people in their struggle for freedom and independence.
4. Take care of the various cultural aspects of the Palestinian people.
5. Preserve Palestinian heritage & culture against loss, appropriation, and theft.

Its establishment came in response to the growing needs of the Palestinian people and to establish their national rights following the war/ occupation of 1948 and the occupation of the rest of Palestine in 1967, which led to the displacement and expulsion of tens of thousands of Palestinians to the Ramallah and Al-Bireh areas, as was the case for the rest of Palestine.

Theory of Change

The Society believes that the family is the main building block of Palestinian society. It also believes that the development of Palestinian families must include all family members – children, youth, parents, and the elderly.

Sustainable Development Goals

1. No Poverty: This effort includes targeting those living in vulnerable situations, increasing access to basic resources and services, and supporting communities affected by conflict and climate-related disasters.
2. Quality Education: Advance academic and vocational education to make it more effective in achieving sustainable development
3. Gender Equality: Economic and social empowerment of Palestinian women and youth to strengthen the steadfastness of the Palestinian people
4. Affordable And Clean Energy: Strengthen the financial sustainability of Inash Alusra Society

This campaign is dedicated to fundraising on behalf of United Palestinian Appeal, a registered charity in the United States. The collected funds will be directed to this charity.
