Tanweer Center, a community based center locacted in Beit Ummar/North of Hebron city,

 Through educational, cultural , and recreational programs, we have been responding to Beit Ummar vulnerable children's needs, since 2019 we have served more than 700 child.  Due to funding difficulties, the center is striving to meet all  children's needs.

With your donatoin, Tanweer Center would like to initiate a summer camp  that will serve 60 child including orphans, children with disabilities together witn children facing econonic harships.  Summer vacation is one of the most important times in his or her life. Tanweer Center makes it an enjoyable, educational, fun-filled summer where the child can grow into a well-rounded individual. each day the campers will participate in activities to stimulate creativity.                                                                                      

1-With your donations we will help children recognizing  biodiversity in Palestine: we believe kids who travel at a young age grow up to appreciate different natures and cultures:Palestinian nature is known for its biodiversity , while many kinds of plants and animals are being threatened from extinction related to environmental problems resulted from  human behavior.Children will  learn about these problems through lectures, and trips, enhanced to find solutions.    

2-  Tanweer center will initiate recycling activities: why add to the landfills when you can turn trash into treasure? Have you ever weighed how much trash each family generates every day? those used egg cartons, plastic eggs , ice cream sticks, empty tin cans, and much more – it can all be turned into something that’s either useful, or pretty or both!  but these projects would be great to spread some awareness on "Earth Day"  so gathering all these children, together with craft supplies there’s a lot of fun stuff to be made! .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       

3-  Your donation will support a hiking with the aim of planting seedlings: Children are losing so much of environmental activities, socialization through recreational
trips in the mountains and valleys. They are becoming less connected to their environment. Several excursions and workshops are to be held in nature to reconnect with  nature, they will be enhanced to do a voluntary work for planting seedlings.                                                                                                                                    

4-You can help us providing the children an educational and recreational trip:

The happiest moments for all children when they hear  they are going on  a trip; children are so eager to visit places like the sea, animal zoo museums and  parks.

Such trips increase the sense of adventure, raising self-esteem  and confidence among children, children also feel free, responsible, these trips increasing knowledge.

Let us help  them fulfill their dream  of going on a long awaited  trip that will stands in their minds for months and gives them hope for a brighter life.                                                                                                                                                                           

Since 2019 we used to provide children with:
1-  Art workshops: children and teanagers learn the principles of drawing, It helps improving imagination, self-esteem, and confidence.                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

2-  Library sessions: children are enhanced to read more, listen, watch and analyze situations finding solutions to  problems surrounding them,   by working as a team and plying role.                                                      

3- Presenting theatrical Performances: theater allows children to participate, express their opinion and be part of the solution in addition to  entertainment.

Why We Need Your Help?

Children of Beit Ummar have been prevented from joining summer damps for the last 3 years due to the Pandemic resulted from Corona Virus, They lost three years of socialization, forming new companion, practicing their freedom in nature. They are losing their childhood in closed rooms and in front of screens.
