ISNA Cares is answering the call to assist our brothers and sisters in the community, making mental health and disability services more accessible. 

ISNA Cares is the mental health and social service department of ISNA Canada.

In 2022, ISNA Cares supported more than 650 clients, providing over 1000 hours of free counselling services. Additionally, ISNA Cares facilitated a Winter Camp, March Break Camp, and an Accessible Qur'an Program for over 50 children with disabilities. ISNA Cares also provided 237 Bereavement calls, and 150 hospital visits.

Currently, the ISNA Cares Team is working out of one office. With the growing demand of our services, we are having difficulty meeting the needs of the community due to space constraints.

ISNA Canada is working to re-purpose space for ISNA Cares by creating additional spaces for counselling and programs. The cost to complete this project is $75,000. 

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever helps ease one in difficulty, Allah will make it easy for him in this world and the Hereafter. Whoever conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults in this world and the Hereafter. Allah helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Whoever travels a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise. People do not gather in the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it together, but that tranquility will descend upon them, mercy will cover them, angels will surround them, and Allah will mention them to those near Him. Whoever is slow to good deeds will not be hastened by his lineage.”
