Masjid Muhammad of Atlantic City, the oldest masjid in southern New Jersey, has always been a cornerstone of faith, resilience, and support for families and individuals alike. Now, we need your support to continue providing vital services and programs in the year ahead.

Our masjid serves as a place of worship, education, and community. With your help, we can continue to serve our community with the programs and services that so many rely on, including:

• Ramadan Programs: Each year, we provide nightly Iftar meals, Tarawih prayers and special sessions of knowledge.
• Eid Celebrations: The joy of Eid is a time to come together as a community. Your support will help fund an Eid breakfast celebration for all, as well as gifts for children, ensuring that this blessed holiday is filled with joy for everyone.
• Islamic Education: Masjid Muhammad is also a hub for Islamic learning. Our classes help nurture the next generation of Muslim scholars, leaders, and community members. Our regular programs online and in-person, ensure our community continues to grow in knowledge and faith.
• Monthly Maintenance and Building Repairs: As the masjid ages, maintaining and repairing our building has become increasingly important. Your support will ensure that the masjid remains a safe, clean, and welcoming place for worship and community events.
• Helping Families in Need: Each year, we provide assistance to families facing financial hardship. Your generosity helps us provide much-needed aid to those who need it most.

In his address at the Masjid Muhammad Islamic Summit in 2024, Dr. Ihsan Bagby emphasized the importance of supporting African American masajid, saying, “We all should support our African American masajid, even if it’s not your home masjid.” These words remind us that our efforts to maintain and grow Masjid Muhammad are part of a larger mission to support institutions that promote faith, unity, and community development.
