This Ramadan, let's rebuild Pakistan together! 

Over 33 million people were impacted by the devastating 2022 floods in Pakistan and more than 2.1 Million homes were damaged. The impact of the floods will last for years with over $30 billion in damages. 

Salams' goal has always been to Bring Muslims Together; whether for marriage or friendship. This Ramadan, we're bringing Muslims together for a different purpose: building homes.

Together, we can provide homes for those who were impacted by the unprecedented floods. Let's make difference as a Muslim Ummah this Ramadan and start our holy month on a strong note. 

The Salams Village Project

Salams has partnered with SKT to rebuild a village in Pakistan for those impacted by the floods. SKT Welfare, a reputable charity based out of the UK, has years of experience in helping millions around the world with emergency relief and more. 

• South Punjab - This area of Pakistan was one of the most compromised during the floods. The village will be built in South Punjabi in one of three districts: Rajanpur, DGK or Taunsa.
• Solar Powered Homes - The homes will have a sustainable resource of electricity to avoid any future outages for the families.
• Fortified Homes - Homes in the South Punjab District were previously built in Mud. These new homes will be stronger than before and built with brick.
• Protecting Women - Women and girls are frequently the most vulnerable in a humanitarian crisis. Building homes where they can be safe is critical.
• Donate your Zakat - Zakat Eligible. You are helping to build homes for families.
