Fight the Freeze This Winter for Widows & Orphans

This winter, join our 'Fight the Freeze' initiative to support orphaned children and widowed mothers facing harsh conditions. In regions like Gaza, Pakistan, Jammu & Kashmir and Nepal, essentials like food, clean water, warm shelter, and healthcare become critical.

Gaza update As of mid-January 2024, our Gaza Emergency Relief project is underway, focusing on aiding displaced individuals in Rafah, Gaza Strip. We have successfully initiated the distribution of 4,080 fresh produce baskets and are on track to distribute 1,214 winter clothing and blanket packages. These efforts are crucial in improving the nutritional status and winter preparedness of internally displaced persons, aiding them in coping with the challenging winter conditions and ongoing infrastructure issues in the region. We remain committed to our mission and will continue to provide updates on our progress.

Jahan Ara, a 10-year-old orphan in Nepal, shares how a Winter Relief Kit provided warmth and hope to her family last winter:

“During winter, my mum struggles to take care of our needs even more. It’s harder to get to school and our house is always cold at night. We can’t warm up. Her depression gets worse during this season and her grief is much harder for her to cope with. But last winter, a Winter Relief Kit changed our lives. Warm food, cozy blankets, and winter coats helped me and Fatima focus better at school.”
