• Four months ago, the ADRP warehouse in Goleta burned, and lost all of the supplies waiting to go to Afghanistan as well as tools and supplies to build clinics there. Please help to replace these tools and supplies so that ADRP can continue to serve the Afghan people.
   
  
• ADRP has been working in Afghanistan for fourteen years. Their work is to train and empower the Afghan people to provide healthcare to the underserved. ADRP builds clinics from shipping containers, equips the clinics and provides supplies, trains local people to work in the clinics, and then turn the clinic over to the people as a self-funded entity that provides free basic treatment for the poor and also sophisticated care that people pay for. The money that the clinics earn go back into costs for treating the poor. The clinics provide free basic treatment for all ages, ethnicities, sexes. ADRP clinics have provided free treatment for over 300,000 poor Afghans.
  

• "We are having a particular problem in Afghanistan now. We rely on electricity to operate our clinic, but the Taliban continue to destroy the incoming power lines from Kazakhstan, forcing us to rely on our diesel generator in order to operate the clinic. Unfortunately, the generator has given out, and can no longer be repaired. We need to raise $8,000 to purchase another generator" -Dr. James Rolfe, founder of ADRP
