HELP our Masjid become DEBT FREE! 

Adjacent to the newly purchased vacant lots, 516 William Floyd Pkwy was purchased on Feb 28, 2022. The Muslim community around the globe and especially, the residents of Long Island, NY generously donated $265,000 in less than 10 weeks. The masjid administration acted quickly and borrowed the difference of $111,000 from several brothers at 0% interest (Qard Hasanah) to close on this property in due time. This property will be merged with the current lots and make the entire Masjid's Footprint to a full 2 ACRES with a house on it. The potential is quite endless for this strategic purchase. P.S. It will also increase the frontage to 500 ft. on William Floyd Pkwy.

Project #1: - BRICK BY BRICK: SAVE THE MASJID! (2016)

Islaamic Center of Mastic-Shirley (ICMS) opened its doors to a small developing community in the eastern region of Long Island, NY in 2002. Since then, the Masjid operated and rented space in a small house (503 William Floyd Parkway, Shirley, NY 11967), which was later acquired in Jan 2016 for $212,000 by ICMS in 2 WEEKS!!.

Project #2: - PARCEL BY PARCEL: PURCHASE 3 LOTS! (2019)

Alhamdulliah, in June 2019, Allah has blessed the community with a 70,000 Sqft. (Lot 1, 2, and 3) vacant lot located on the other side of the current Masjid on William Floyd Parkway. The purchase of this 70,000 sq. ft. parcel was $350,000 which was raised just in 3 WEEKS!!

Project #3: - FOOTPRINT EXPANSION: PURCHASE HOUSE NEXT TO LOT! (2022)

Then recently, on February 28, 2022 the masjid acquired 516 William Floyd Pkwy which is adjacent to the huge lot for $375,000 in just 10 weeks which is why we need help with to pay back the $111,000 Qard Hasanah.

Current Landscape of Islaamic Center of Mastic-Shirley's Real Estate:

By the grace of Almighty Allah, ICMS has managed to purchase 5 separate pieces of real estate in less than 6 years. The community has exponentially grown since the inception of this masjid in 2002. The initial design of the newly built masjid is in the Town of Brookhaven awaiting approval.
