Islamic Association of Lewisville, Flower Mound is a masjid just north of Dallas Fort Worth (DFW). We are the only Masjid serving Muslims in a 12 mile radius. It began by converting a family home into a Musallah. Al-Ḥamdu lillāh, with the hard work of the community members, we have established IALFM as a hub and an active part of the lifestyle for many in the Lewisville/Flower Mound area. Our Masjid functions exactly how our Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) wanted a masjid to operate. We are the epicenter for our community. Here are just a few things we do:

• Community picnics and many youth engagement programs
• Community iftars every Friday, Saturday and Sunday during Ramadhan. 
• Taraweeh prayers through out the holy month of Ramadhan.

As the community around us grows, ma sha Allah, we are finding ourselves short of space. Every Jum'ah, we have at least 2 rows praying outside. When children are on their winter and summer breaks, we have at least half of the attendees outside, sometimes in very adverse weather.

We are at a point where we officially have to turn children away from Sunday school because we just do not have anymore space. This is heartbreaking and with your help, we can fix this.

We have a bold vision of growing from a 2000 sqft masjid to a 15,000 sqft masjid. The masjid will build a richer community and spread awareness of Islam all around us.

The total cost of the project is 3 million dollars. We began gathering funds over 6 years ago. We broke the project down into 3 phases, each 1 million dollars. By the grace of Allah, we have completed 2 phases and are on the home stretch. Our steel structure is up and at this point, our foreheads yearn to give sajdah in the new masjid.




Our community has really come through and continued to donate every single year. We do not have the advantage of major metropolitan cities where people flow in from all directions. As such, we find ourselves asking from the same group of people over and over and over again. Al-Ḥamdu lillāh, they have kept their pockets open for us and donated generously. 

​We had plans to raise enough funds to finish construction of the Masjid this year. However due to COVID-19 epidemic and subsequent Masjid closures, we are unlikely to meet our fundraising target. This forces us to reach out to our extended Muslim communities for their generous donations as Sadaqa-e-Jaria using the Launch Good campaign. Please come forward and help our community to be able finish the construction before Ramadan 2021. 

We are hoping that through this campaign, we can gather the last $1,300,000 we need to finish this project.

• Expansive Prayer Hall
• 8 purpose-built classrooms
• Gymnasium
• Library
• Indoor Wudhu Area (yes, our wudhu area today is outdoors).
• 130 Total Parking spaces

We request you to please keep this house of Allah (S.W.T) in your mind and donate generously. We understand times can be hard, and that is why we aren't asking any one person to donate it all. We want everyone to have an opportunity to participate in this build.

Uthman ibn Affan reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever builds a masjid for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”
