Masjid An-Nur is located within the heart of the North Minneapolis Community of Minnesota. In this community Black, Brown and elderly members are widely underserved in many aspects. Including: healthy balanced meals, housing, career training and placement, recovery resources and many other things. Al-Maa'uun, a non-profit housed within Masjid An-Nur, is working to ensure that every community member has access to everything they need. To do this, we need your help! Zakat funds will go directly to supporting programming offered to the underserved in the North Minneapolis community, such as housing, food, employment and provide resources such as diapers, meals, rent assistance and more.

You'll be the beacon of generosity, providing meals to seniors through Meals on Wheels and ensuring families in need receive fresh produce and household goods during our annual event giveaways. Your superpower is the ability to nourish our community with your generosity!

Housing Hero: Transform into a Housing Hero and be a powerful ally for those facing housing barriers. By supporting community members dealing with homelessness, incarceration, or previous evictions, you're offering them a "Second Chance" for a more secure future. Your superpower is bigheartedness – the key to unlocking doors to stability!

Career Hero:  As a Career Hero, jump into action to sustain workforce development and employment services through a network of community partners. Connect neighbors to work, educational opportunities, and career resources, ensuring meaningful living-wage jobs. Your superpower is selflessness, empowering others to thrive in their professional journey!

Recovery Hero:  Fly to the rescue as a Recovery Hero, uplifting neighbors experiencing Substance Use Disorder. Provide sober living facilities and healing supports like community healing circles and peer recovery coaches. Your superpower is kindness, guiding others on their path to recovery with compassion and empathy!

Mentorship Hero: In a single bound, become a Mentorship Hero by providing ongoing interaction and coaching to the youth in our community. Grow and shape young minds into productive, responsible, and successful community members academically, socially, and spiritually. Your superpower is service, leaving an indelible mark on the future!
