The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The best of you are those who feed others.”  In these sacred months, as we commemorate the sacrifice of Ibrahim (alayhi salaam), let us remind ourselves of the blessings of Allah upon us, and make some sacrifice on our own to get closer to our Creator.  At the same time, let us help feed those in need, especially with our Qurbani sacrifice, provide a luxury (meat) that is out of reach for many.

Food is a basic necessity, yet so much of our ummah lacks access to a proper meal.  For many, they don't know where there next meal will come from.  This is especially true for the orphans, widows, elderly and disabled in Afghanistan.  Imagine the burden a widow mother has of trying to provide for her children, and the stress and pain it causes her when she is unable to.  It is a reality that is too hard to bear for so many.

At Kama Relief, we want to change that one family at a time.  We are a completely volunteer run non-profit in the US, collecting and managing donations so that they reach those in need.  We need your support to make a difference.

For $50, we can provide a needy family with basic monthly food supplies and household items to ease their difficulties.  During times of emergency or the cold winter, we often include necessary items include heaters, coats, socks, shoes, shawls or other goods the families may need.
