Did you wish you had a leadership program for Muslim girls by Muslim women? So did we! Growing up in North America, it was difficult to find leadership programs for girls and more importantly a sense of belonging. At Voices of Muslim Women, we are are a for us-by us Muslim women's leadership and professional development non profit organization creating programs to help our girls become leaders in every industry. I started Voices of Muslim Women five years ago, when I saw my five year old daughter Ameerah's face fall. Two groups of teenagers around us were saying nasty things about Muslim women. As an educator, with a Masters Degree in Social Justice, I knew what internalized oppression does to a child over time and decided to created programs that strengthen Muslim girl's identities in a positive way. 

One of the biggest indicators of our success has been the supportive men in our lives. We all have noticed when our fathers, brothers, husbands, sons, grandfathers, uncles, friends and more champion us, we've had bigger successes and feel more confident in running these programs working with their support. 

100 Brothers Who Care - Campaign is simply a call to action to find 100 Muslim men who are willing to publicly pledge $ 25.00 CAD  and their name towards our programs for Muslim girls and women. We'll add your name to our 100 Brothers Who Care Campaign to hopefully inspire other men to take action towards creating a better community for their daughters, sisters and nieces. Every single dollar received goes to our programs created specifically for Muslim girls such as our Young Leaders of Today program. We have over five years of experience creating and running innovative programs for Muslim girls and will be able to do so much more for them with your support. 

As a thank you for your support, you'll qualify to be invited to our Dads & Daughters Dinner in Vancouver, BC in July 2022 - a formal night for fathers (or brothers, grandfathers, uncles etc.) to take the girls in their lives for a fancy formal dinner downtown Vancouver. Truly, a night to remember, celebrating our families and strong father-daughter relationships and meeting other Brothers Who Care in Vancouver, British Columbia.
