How are we ending hunger?

1. Sending food packages and meals

We are actively distributing food aid to communities in need, all across the world, so that families can peacefully break bread together and students in impoverished communities can secure their next meal, allowing them to better focus on their education. On average, we feed 16 million meals to hungry people every year.

2. Supporting farmers and agriculture

We’re supporting families in impoverished communities through farmer business training, providing longstanding equipment, and teaching them to become self-reliant business owners. With providing farmers with lasting tools, these communities uplift themselves from hunger, create their own resources, and increase productivity for their families and communities. In Ghana, we’re supporting 124 families through training their women to grow and sell their local crop, cassava. In Gaza, families with their new greenhouses are producing fresh vegetables for their families and selling it in the market. In Yemen, supplying generators and doing farmer training for sesame farmers has increased their sesame production by 25 percent. Every dollar supporting this cause goes a long way— we are providing communities with the tools to make their own difference in their life.

3. Animal husbandry

We're also supporting communities through our animal husbandry program, where we gift families with mating cattle like goats and cows, as well as poultry, in order to provide them with a source of food and income! As families raise their cattle their offspring is paid forward to other communities in need. Through your support for #UsAgainstHunger, you'll help this beautiful program thrive.
