A Book For the Children of Gaza in 3 Languages

Azag is a children's book in English, French, and Italian for all the children in the world who are suffering and are afraid. In this story, AZAG extends his arms to the young people of Palestine but he could very well be attentive to the little ones of Africa, the Dominican Republic or those of my country.
I created Azag to say to the little human beings on the planet, you are not alone, we think of you. If every adult in the world cares about a child, we could certainly create a human chain in the universe to fight fear, loneliness, and despair.
I believe that global solidarity is the most important thing in life.
I hope to spend my life connecting children's hearts with adult hearts to counter violence.
This book is my way of saying it.
Children of the world, I love you all.

Ce que mon livre représente pour moi.

À mes yeux, AZAG tient la main de tous les enfants du monde qui souffrent ou qui ont peur. Dans cette histoire, il tend les bras aux jeunes de la Palestine mais il pourrait fort bien être attentif aux petits de l’Afrique, de la République Dominicaine ou à ceux de mon pays.

J’ai créé Azag pour dire aux petits êtres humains de la planète, tu n’es pas seul, nous pensons à toi. Si chaque adulte de la terre se préoccupait d’un enfant, on pourrait certainement créer une chaîne humaine à grandeur de l’univers pour faire en sorte de combattre la peur, la solitude et le désespoir.

Je crois que la solidarité mondiale est ce qui est le plus important dans la vie.

J’espère passer mon existence à relier des cœurs d’enfants à des cœurs d’adultes afin de contrer la violence.

Ce livre est ma façon de le dire.

Quello che il mio libro rappresenta per me

Ai miei occhi, AZAG tiene la mano di tutti i bambini del mondo che stanno soffrendo o hanno paura. In questa storia, raggiunge i giovani della Palestina, ma potrebbe benissimo essere attento ai piccoli dell'Africa, della Repubblica Dominicana o di quelli del mio paese.

Ho creato Azag per dire ai piccoli esseri umani del pianeta, non sei solo, pensiamo a te. Se ogni adulto nel mondo si prende cura di un bambino, potremmo certamente creare una catena umana nell'universo per combattere la paura, la solitudine e la disperazione.

Credo che la solidarietà mondiale sia la cosa più importante nella vita. Spero di passare la mia vita a collegare i cuori dei bambini con quelli degli adulti per fare ostacolo alla violenza.

Questo libro è il mio modo di dirlo.

Figli del mondo, vi amo tutti.

Eva Amabili-Rivet - Illustrator/ Illustratrice

Eva obtained her bachelors in communication in 2011 and currently works for Alloprof. She completed a certificate in visual arts at the University of Quebec in Montreal. Her work represents what touches her and reflects her emotions. 

Eve Amabili-Rivet a obtenu son baccalauréat en communication en 2011 et travaille actuellement pour l’organisme Alloprof. Elle a complété un certificat en arts plastiques à l’Université du Québec à Montréal. Par ses œuvres, elle souhaite représenter ce qui la touche, transmettre des émotions et peut-être même faire réfléchir à l’occasion. 

Eleonora Giudici - Translator/Traductrice French -> Italian

Eleonora Giudici, ha vent’anni e vive ad Acquaviva Picena, in provincia di Ascoli Piceno. Ha frequentato il Liceo Linguistico a San Benedetto del Tronto dove ha scoperto la sua passione per le lingue. Ora frequenta il secondo anno di università di Mediazione Linguistica. Nel futuro, li piacerebbe lavorare nel campo della traduzione.

Nigel Garka-Pope - Translator/Traducteur French -> English

Nigel Garka-Pope was born in England but lives in Quebec with his wife, a Palestinian woman from Gaza. It is to a small extent thanks to her, that he was able to acquire a slight awareness of life in Gaza, which is why he loved translating AZAG into the language of Shakespeare.
