As Salaamu Alaikum! Since 2010, Huma-Faith is 501 C 3 and the first in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area of Texas to provide housing and support services for Muslims experiencing homelessness. Moreover, we welcome non-Muslims who are willing to co-exist with our brothers and sisters and such has become a great form of dawah!
Among several issues, TRANSPORTATION is something the homeless people struggle with-something that hinders upward mobility! As an organization, we've been limited to personal vehicles and have yet to effectively address transportation needs.
A Muslim brother in our community has agreed to afford us 2 large capacity vehicles (7 passenger each) for $3,000 total. He agrees to fix anything necessary and to help us maintain these vehicles; Masha-Allah. Our homeless residents need our transportation assistance for the following:
We are asking everyone who come across this campaign to highly consider this need and to help us reach our goal; Insha-Allah. If or when donations come in, we will periodically provide updates, pictures of the vehicles, etc. For all those who donate, we pray Allah ta'ala make your donation one that has the greatest impact for our current residents and 10's/100's more to come; Ameen!
