Please help UOSSM support the #ForgottenFamilies of Idlib. Thousands are struggling to survive, UOSSM is there every step of the way providing medical care.

As the cold and winter weather settles in please take a moment to remember the #ForgottenFamilies of Idlib and Northern Syria. Please donate and support UOSSM's work with the internally displaced persons (IDPs)!

As winter approaches life in tents for millions of IDPs becomes unbearable. Syrians have been through so much in the past seven years. Armed conflict, civil unrest, and human rights violations all have become a part of daily life for those affected by the crisis. Syria’s health system has been decimated as doctors and medical workers along with hospitals and medical facilities continue to be targeted, leaving the most vulnerable with little or no access to medical care. The human impact of the Syrian crisis remains deep and far-reaching – 13 million people are still in need of humanitarian aid.

Even though the violence has somewhat subsided, the need for medical relief is still very urgent. UOSSM has been on the ground since 2012 with medical and mental health care facilities, hospitals, and mobile clinics proudly serving these people, who have struggled so much in the brutal war, and now ultimately the millions of internally displaced persons (IDPs), half of which are children.  Families just like yours; children, women, the elderly, forced from their homes, all trying to find a way to survive. They are basically refugees in their own homeland.

Their homes are tents that are exposed to the elements as cold, rain, and snow settle in for the winter months. They are cold, hungry, and get sick easily, and so many are in desperate need of medical care

With your continued support, UOSSM’s medical and mental health care facilities, hospitals, and mobile clinics will reach those who have struggled so much in Syria’s brutal war. The forgotten families in Idlib and Northern Syria have little hope without the world community’s support and assistance. Please donate and support UOSSM's work, the forgotten families of Idlib need you!  Thank you for caring about those who are suffering and thank you for your support. Together, we are saving lives and building hope!

The people of Idlib need YOU!

Salam,

We hope this email finds you in the best of health.
Syrians in Idlib are suffering immensely as over 948,000 have been newly displaced since December, over 500,000 are children. They have nowhere to go. Many are living out in the open with no shelter. Many medical facilities have been targeted while others are shut down to protect staff and patients.

UOSSM is on the ground traveling to areas of displaced trying to respond to the unimaginable crisis. But the need is so great. The health of thousands is at stake.

Please join our campaign to help provide life-saving medical care and emergency aid to those who need it most. Your gift is zakat eligible and will help save lives.

Only a few hours left...

Salam, we hope this message finds you in the best of health. As many of you know the situation in Idlib, Syria has gotten worse. Since April 28, at least 892 civilians were killed and over 1912 were wounded, almost half of the victims are children. At least 50 medical facilities were targeted and attacked, leaving hundreds of thousands with no access to medical care.

Today is the last day to support  this campaign. Please give so we can continue to provide medical care to those who need it most!

The image below shows newborn babies being evacuated after an attack on the Iman Maternity hospital they were just born in, they were still in incubators.

UOSSM has been working tirelessly to meet the needs of the newly displaced by operating more mobile clinics in areas of displacement and providing medical services to those who need it most. It is estimated that at least 750,000 were recently displaced, many with nowhere to go living under olive trees.

But we can't do it alone, let's make a difference together! These families need your support, they need life-saving medical care, mental health care, protection and nutrition services.

Show them you care, please donate TODAY. May you be rewarded greatly on this day and every day.

Reminder: The people of Idlib still need you!

Salam and peace to you and your families. We hope you are taking full advantage and enjoying the last few days of Ramadan.

Thank you to all who have supported our campaign: Act4Idlib. There is still time! The contest ends on Sunday at 1 a.m. Please support the people of Idlib if you haven't done so already. The situation is desperate but you can help make a difference. Your gift will help keep our mobile clinics on the ground in new areas of displacement, for the over 350,000 innocent civilians, and help provide our other medical services.

Unfortunately, the people of Idlib have spent a very difficult Ramadan fleeing from attacks, losing loved ones, getting wounded and becoming displaced. At least 320 have lost their lives to the indiscriminate attacks. Watch the video below to see the absolute terror the children experienced just this past week. It is painful to watch but is the reality they have been experiencing.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LWu6B3EcNE

No child should ever have to feel such fear. They have spent Ramadan not knowing when or even if they will have their next meal, being afraid, sad and alone, as the whole world has turned a blind eye to the atrocities. But you can help and show the people that you care. What better time to care and give than these last few days of Ramadan? Please watch this video to the end to see a special message from Imam Zaid Shaker.

UOSSM responded the recent crisis by adding 5 mobile clinics, but the need is so great, at least 70 mobile clinics are needed to suffice for the large numbers in need of medical care. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Right now Launchgood has a contest for donations on Laylat Al Qadr that ends tonight at 1am! We could win up to $25,000! This would go a long way to helping the Syrian people. If you haven't done so already, please do give and share this campaign with all of your friends and family, every dollar matters and can make a difference.. Not only will you get the good deeds of these blessed nights but you will do a world of good. Your donation is zakat eligible and tax deductible. Together we can save lives and build hope.

The people of Idlib need you on this special day!

Salam and peace to you on these blessed days. We hope you are enjoying this beautiful month and feeling the peace and tranquility.
Unfortunately, that is not the case for the Syrian people in Idlib. They have spent Ramadan fleeing from attacks, losing loved ones, getting wounded and becoming displaced. At least 320 have lost their lives to the indiscriminate attacks...They have spent Ramadan not knowing when or even if they will have their next meal. They have spent Ramadan afraid, sad and alone, as the whole world has turned a blind eye to the atrocities. One UOSSM staff member lost 3 of his children and his mother just a few days ago. There is no end in sight. UOSSM has responded to the over 350,000 displaced by operating 5 more mobile clinics. But the need is so great, at least 70 mobile clinics are needed to suffice for the large numbers in need of medical care. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Right now Launchgood has a contest for donations on Laylat Al Qadr! We could win up to $25,000! This would go a long way to helping the Syrian people. Act4Idlib This Ramadan! The People of Syria Need You

Salam- Ramadan Kareem. Peace and blessings to you in this blessed month.

As you read this message the people in Idlib are suffering immensely. They areunder attack...At least 160 have been killed and at least 600 were wounded. A large number of those casualties are women and children. As of today, 19 medical facilities were targeted and put out of service. According to our sources on the ground, the bombardment has forced over 350,000 to flee the violence. They have nowhere to turn so at least 20% of those displaced are living under the olive trees. They are deprived of food, water, basic sanitation and medical care. See video here.
In response, UOSSM will be operating 5 more mobile clinics and will continue to reach those displaced people, providing medical and mental health care, protection and nutrition services. Please support our campaign and act 4 Idlib so YOU can help provide medical care to those who desperately need it. The people need your support. Please give and share this campaign with your family and friends. May your generosity and support rewards be multiplied and may you find the blessings in your families and loved ones.
