Hi, I'm Zayneb, the co-founder of Zed&Q. We create products which aim to educate and inspire our minds through faith. My passion to enhance childrens' learning experience began 11 years ago when I first became an Aunty. Now having 10 other nieces and nephews, a step daughter and a baby boy, my passion has only increased.

I want to raise my children in a world where they can express their identity, think innovatively and creatively. Over the past 8 months we have been busy designing and creating a wooden product for children; The Play Masjid. 

The Play Masjid is an ‘open ended’ toy which helps develop children’s creativity and helps bring their imagination to life. Children will be able to decorate, craft, build and learn through play. 

More importantly, they will be able to develop the essential skills needed later in life like; problem solving, making decisions, co-operating, increased self esteem, language, thinking and social development.The Play Masjid is a way children can disconnect with their screens and simply reconnect with family.The great part is open ended toys are non-age specific which means anyone can join in the fun!

Each Play Masjid Kit includes:

• A Wooden Masjid with 2 floors and 3 walls*
• A small visual booklet which includes:

            - Step by step instructions to build your Play Masjid.

            - Step by step instructions to make the Little Mu'meenah Craft using 

              recyclable products (also featured in our craft book).

            - Information about Imaginative Play including tips on how to    

              encourage it.

           - Story activities to help set the story scene.

• A family of 4 wooden peg dolls* in a small drawstring pouch.
  
• A durable fun designed canvas bag to take your Play Masjid everywhere you go.

*Play Masjid + peg dolls are made locally from certified sustainable wood and have been left raw allowing children to paint and decorate unleashing the little artist inside of them. Encourage your children to use materials found in your home to spark there creativity!

What began as an initial idea few years ago, turned into a hands on project. A simpler version of the Play Masjid was originally created out of cardboard for our Craft Book. We believe every child has a right to learn in a captivating way. Through your financial support, we will be able to take the next step and fund the production of the Play Masjid. Your support will also enable us to continue creating children’s products that will educate and inspire little minds.

Zayneb Abdullatif,  a nurse turned creative entrepreneur with a passion to educate and inspire those around her. She's a new mum, a lovable Aunt to 10 curious kids, avid crafter and an adventure seeker! She's the co-founder of Zed&Q, {where all unique wooden products can be found} and is currently living on the East Coast in Australia.

Sidqie Djunaedi, a passionate photographer and a sourcing specialist in the oil and gas industry.  He is a loveable dad to a beautiful daughter and a cheeky baby boy. He loves the outdoors - swimming at the beach, hiking, camping - and enjoys spending time with his family. He is the "Q" in Zed&Q.
