The Serendipity Foundation have set up a fundraising page and we're aiming to raise £5000 inshAllah to support the effort of local charities working on the ground to help families get back to some sense of normality.
If you can donate as little as £5 to the cause, you'll be helping one of those families begin their long journey back from this tragic event.
On the 14th June 2017, a huge fire engulfed the residential Grenfell Tower block in London, raging through the night and still blazing over 24 hours later.
Eyewitnesses saw people trapped inside, some taking a leap of faith to jump several storeys to try and escape the blaze. Men, women, the elderly and the young were all affected. The event was tragic on an unprecedented scale and being so close to home, we feel it's our duty to support those who have lost everything in the fire.
100% of donations will go towards local charities helping families and victims on the ground. The Serendipity Foundation cover admin costs for donations made via this page so every penny is forwarded to local teams supporting the victims.
