Flint Bishop Airport Attack

On June 21st, 2017 as Lieutenant Jeff Neville was doing his duty at the Flint Bishop International Airport in the city of Flint, Michigan a man yielding a knife attacked him and stabbed him in the neck. This man was later identified to be a 50-year old native Canadian by the name of Amor Ftouhi, who had arrived in the US less than a week ago.

According to CNN, Officer Neville was attacked in the "airport's main terminal and is now in satisfactory condition".

Flint attorney Frank J. Manley called Neville a "very professional, outstanding police officer."

"(He) gets along with everybody ... His family's been around Genesee County for a long time...," Manley said of Neville.

Genesee County Commissioner Mark Young, a Democrat who called Jeff Neville, a Republican, his best friend stated that : "He's a very good, honorable man, working on his second career," Young said. "As expected, (his family is) in shock. They are concerned." (MLive.com)

Funds

All funds raised will support Officer Neville and his family. During this difficult time, the last thing that they need is to worry about medical bills and damages concurred from the aftermath of this unfortunate event. 

All donations will be overseen by the Flint Islamic Center, a nonprofit organization and the local Muslim community center. 

We will work with the local police department to ensure funds are distributed to help Officer Neville and his family directly.
