Help Millions to Know & Love the Prophet ﷺ Through Films, Classes & Campaigns

Our Prophet ﷺ said:

"Charity does not decrease wealth."

"Charity erases sins as water extinguishes fire."

"Give charity without delay, for it prevents misfortunes."

Help Millions to Know Him ﷺ

"You will be with the one you love." This is what our Prophet Muhammad said about the Day of Judgment. Falling in love with the Prophet ﷺ is our ticket to joining him in the Next Life. And how can we love someone we don't know?

Today you can help millions to know our Prophet ﷺ.
You can gift our Prophet ﷺ before 2019 ends.

CelebrateMercy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with one goal: to teach about the Prophet's life and character. We do this through our words and actions; that is, through our programs and campaigns

Before the year ends, we urgently need your help to reach our goal of raising $100,000. This will allow us to continue and grow our programs. To hit our goal, we need to raise $100,000 by December 31, 2019.

Why Support Us?

Even though our work reached over 100 million people last year alone, many don't realize the high costs of our events, videos, and campaigns. When telling our Prophet's story, we strive to do it beautifully. He deserves nothing less from us. Help us make history by sharing his story ﷺ.

NOTE: We also have a Zakat Fund that provides scholarships to those who cannot afford our programs. Type 'Zakat' in the notes section when donating.

What is CelebrateMercy?

CelebrateMercy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that teaches about the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ's life and character - to Muslims and the general public. We do this through short films, online campaigns, traveling conferences, and webinars that feature world-renowned speakers and scholars.

In 9 years, CelebrateMercy has:

  • Reached 300 million people through national media coverage
  • Held 36 events for 100,000 participants in 115 countries
  • Produced 200+ videos with 6 million views on YouTube & Facebook
  • Generated social media posts leading to 700,000 subscribers
Since last year, we hosted 11 traveling conferences nationwide, reaching thousands in multiple states - including 200 people that we helped with financial aid scholarships. Our recent Prophet-inspired campaigns mobilized Muslims to help families of the shooting victims at the Pittsburgh synagogue and the New Zealand mosques. Both campaigns combined raised over $2 million USD.

News of our recent campaigns reached millions through outlets like CNNThe New York Times and tweets by celebrities like Ellen Degeneres. The Late Show with Stephen Colbert also applauded our campaign for the victims of the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting which raised over $230,000. See our CNN interview and a clip of Stephen Colbert below:

Why We're Raising Funds
l

Our year-end target is to raise $100,000 for our 2020/2021 programs.

Our Next Campaign & Film

CelebrateMercy is focusing much of its fundraising on our next campaign and film. This will be a historic campaign that inspires Muslims nationwide to forge bonds with their next-door neighbors - all inspired by the Prophet Muhammad's example. An Emmy-winning film director Joshua Seftel has agreed to film a documentary about our campaign (read about him here). Here is a short video of Josh introducing himself at a recent CelebrateMercy event:

Transformation, Not Just Information

CelebrateMercy's programs have impacted lives in ways we never expected; we know this from the hundreds of surveys we've received. So many Muslims have re-connected and fallen in love with the Prophet ﷺ. Non-Muslim viewers have learned more about him, gaining a newfound respect for him. Here is a beautiful reflection from an attendee of our recent conference in Chicago:

One webinar viewer said:

"At a time when I was in my darkest moments since reverting to Islam in 2009, when I was on the edge, close to leaving Islam, this webcast has renewed my faith. It has made me look at the Prophet (pbuh) in an entirely different way then I could have ever imagined, and I must say, I am truly in love...This webcast has changed my life!"

Imam Shafi'i about tonight

Salam,

Imam Shafi'i said that there are 5 nights when duas are accepted. Tonight - the 1st night of Eid - is one of them.

CelebrateMercy is hosting a special Ramadan Farewell Dua session tonight to close out the month of Ramadan. Shaykh Yasir Fahmy will give final advice as we bid farewell to Ramadan then lead us in a dua in Arabic and English, begging Allah to accept our Ramadan worship; he'll also read dua requests from the audience. We expect thousands to tune in insha-Allah. Please see the flyer, info, and RSVP link below:

PS: CelebrateMercy is struggling to reach the finish line with our annual Ramadan fundraiser (we're at 90%). If you have benefited from our programs (80 webinars in 30 days) and you can help us sustain them year-round, please consider donating. We also send beautiful appreciation gifts to donors. It would be amazing to hit our goal by Eid day.

Please let me know if you have any questions, and please remember the CelebrateMercy team in your dua!

Salaam,

The CelebrateMercy Team

Your Shama'il Book

Assalamu Alaykum,

Thank you for generously supporting CelebrateMercy's Year-End fundraising campaign which began on Giving Tuesday. We have raised 97% of our $100,000 goal!

UPDATE: The Book

If you donated $100 or more in order to receive a gifted copy of the new book Al-Shamail Al-Muhammadiyya (see video below)we have an update for you.

The book printing was delayed in January, but the books are now ready and arriving in a few days from Turkey. We will then mail them out to those who donated $100 or more to our campaign. Expect to receive them by late February or early March insha-Allah.

Can I still get a book?

We do still have about 40 copies of this book that we can gift to donors. For that reason, we will keep this LaunchGood campaign open for a few more days. Those who donate $100 or more will receive a gifted copy, shipped for free. We invite you to also learn about the other donor gifts on the LaunchGood page.

May Allah bless you for helping us to spread love of the Prophet, peace be upon him.
