أعلن المؤتمر الشعبي لفلسطينيي الخارج، عن البدء في تصميم وإنشاء منصة للتوظيف عن بعد، يستهدف من خلالها اللاجئين الفلسطينيين المحترفين حول العالم لتمكينهم من الحصول على وظائف وتحقيق الاستقلال المالي، من خلال تسليط الضوء على مهاراتهم وخبراتهم وربطهم بأصحاب العمل وتسهيل العقود بين الطرفين.

ودعا المؤتمر، جميع المناصرين للقضية الفلسطينية، إلى تقديم الدعم لمشروع المنصة والتبرع لها، لما سيكون لها من دور كبير في خفض معدلات البطالة بين أوساط اللاجئين الفلسطينيين المنتشرين في العديد من المجتمعات حول العالم، بالإضافة إلى مساعدة الكثير منهم في النهوض من خطر الفقر.

وستتيح المنصة لأصحاب الأعمال طرح وظائف دائمة أو مؤقتة لكوادر متوفرة عن بعد، وكذلك نشر إعلان عن وظائفهم، لجذب أفضل الكفاءات وأصحاب المهارات والخبرات من اللاجئين الفلسطينيين.

وستسهل المنصة على أصحاب الأعمال ممن يرغبون بتوظيف أفضل الخبرات العالمية الفلسطينية؛ تجاوز الحواجز الجغرافية لتطوير أعمالهم واستقطاب الكفاءات في مختلف المجالات، عبر إرسال عروض العمل الخاصة بهم، إلى قاعدة كبيرة من المهتمين بالحصول على جديد وظائف العمل عن بعد.

كما ستوفر المنصة، العمل في بيئة تناسب الباحثين عن وظائف دون التقيد بالذهاب إلى مكتب الشركة يوميًا وأعباء الوظائف التقليدية. وستمنحهم فرصاً أكبر للعمل دون التقيد بالفرص المحدودة في المحيط المحلي أو الاضطرار للسفر والاغتراب.

وستساهم المنصة في تقديم الدعم للمجتمعات الفلسطينية واللاجئين الفلسطينيين لتمكنهم من النهوض من الفقر وخفض معدل البطالة بينهم، كونها ستكون سببًا في حصول العائلات الفلسطينية على دخل مستقر.

There are about 7.2 million Palestinian refugees worldwide. More than 4.3 million Palestinian refugees and their descendants, displaced in 1948, are registered for humanitarian assistance with the United Nations. Although they are refugees, many of them have degrees to make them qualified for descent jobs, however, in many countries they are denied many basic rights. For instance, they are barred from professions and have no access to public social services. This has caused the unemployment rate to spike to reach 43% amongst Palestinian refugees.

From the principle: "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime", we are building a platform that will allow thousands of Palestinian professional refugees around the world to find jobs so that they can be financially independent.

Businesses located anywhere in the world can use freelance platforms to hire temporary or permanent people for job roles and projects that can be completed without the need of being in an office. These platforms allow freelancers to create a profile, display their work portfolio, and chat with employers. So, businesses can search a directory of freelancers based on experience, skills and related criteria. Thus, companies can outsource employees to cut costs, and focus on their core activities.

Our platform is oriented for Palestinian refugees. It will connect them with employers from all around the word. It will also highlights their skills for employers and facilitates the work contracts. We aim that the platform will sustain itself through fees paid by employers, and through advertisements.

Our target of $25,000 will be spent on the development of the platform, and for marketing purposes at the time of launching. We will accept partial funding, as the payment to the developers can be in installment.

With your help and support, you will help a community rise up above the line of poverty, and you will be the reason for a family to have a stable income.You will also help reduce the unemployment rate between the Palestinian refugees, which means cutting down poverty, stress, crime and social problems.
