Allahuma rabbi-nas adhhabal ba'sa, ashfi wa entashafi, la shifa' illa shifa'uka shifa' la yughadiru saqama.
Oh Allah! The Sustainer of Mankind! Remove the illness, cure the disease. You are the One Who cures. There is no cure except Your cure. Grant us a cure that leaves no illness.
My beautiful wife that Allah has blessed me with, her life is in the balance, she has only come into my life recently becoming my wife and now fate may be snatching her away. I’m here trying to raise funds to save her life. On the 8th of September my wife complained of a severe headache and it transpired that she had suffered from severe bleeding within the brain, for which she has undergone 2 brain surgeries and is now fighting for her life and is in critical condition. I need assistance and donations towards her medical care, I have already depleted all my savings and exhausted all avenues, this is my last hope to save her life and have her with me once more. My wife is in the only available specialist hospital in Pakistan, who are charging £5k per week for her care. Please help me to give my wife a fighting chance, she just needs all the help she can get.

I met her and I knew straight away she was the one, we just clicked. Allah had written her into my fate and finally my whole life made sense, everything in my life had led me to the day I married her. We had a beautiful wedding surrounded by family and friends; I am the luckiest guy to have her love. My wife told me she was suffering from a severe migraine. She went to local doctors out there and received migraine medication. The next day it had gotten worse accompanied by vomiting. She went to see another doctor and was told she has food poisoning and sent away again. Day three it got so bad she started losing vision in her left eye. I implored her to visit the hospital. Upon arriving to the hospital, she collapsed and started having a seizure.

The doctors rushed her into A&E and performed a scan on her brain, where they found severe bleeding on the right side of her brain in the parietal lobe (AVM). She was rushed into surgery to evacuate the bleeding. It was hoped that this would improve, and the bleeding would stop. The surgeon evacuated as much of the bleed as possible, however he was unable to complete the surgery as he would have liked, due to oedema (swelling) and necrotic tissue. By the next morning the doctors performed a second scan whereby unfortunately there was a further massive bleed within the brain, and she was rushed into surgery for a second time. This time the doctors placed clamps onto two bleeds within the brain. Her brain is swollen so badly that her skull currently cannot be reattached.
She has had 3 chronic episodes of seizures, involving her upper arm. They are treating her for this. She was treated with mannitol to reduce the swelling. This would be expected as it is a diuretic used typically for brain oedema.

"And if God touches thee with affliction, none can remove it but He: if He touches thee with happiness He has power over all things." (Quran 6:17).
My wife has been in hospital since 10th September and my wife was in a coma, but she is showing signs of improvements, she held my hand tightly and responded to my voice. She has lifted my heart by trying to open her eyes. She has begun to attempt writing but falls in and out of consciousness. Currently she is in a private room receiving round the clock care awaiting her skull reattachment as her brain was swollen. Inshallah I know I can get my wife back; I just need to fight for it. I have used every resource, I have depleted all my funds. My father is retired, mother doesn’t work and I don’t know what to do? I need help, I ask and urge please if anyone can donate and help me to help my wife. I would be grateful beyond belief. I know in my heart that she will make it I have hope, it’s my duty as her husband to explore every avenue to provide her with the treatment needed. My life has completely turned upside down in a matter of a few days. Unfortunately, she is fighting for her life, there are good signs, she is breathing by herself with no assistance and if she makes it she will most likely have a loss if not very reduced function on left side of body. It is Allah that brings day and night and sickness and health. We learn the lesson to be humble and keep praying to Allah.

The Prophet (pbuh) said, “If anyone fulfils his brother’s needs, Allah will fulfil his needs; if one relieves a Muslim of his troubles, Allah will relieve his troubles on the Day of Resurrection.” (Sahih bukari and Muslim) . Please anything will help. I need your help to save my wife’s life. And my life rest in hers. “The words of a man who tells his wife, ‘I love you truly’, should never leave her heart” – Prophet (PBUH) – (Shafi, vol 2, p 138) and if it is by the will of God she will make it through this! Please pray, I thank all of you so far for your donations may god bless you and your families.

Final push and progress

Dear All brothers and Sisters.
Assalaamalykum

A few days ago Doctors inserted a ventricular shunt in Rida's brain for fluids to drain, however during a post operative CT scan it is reported that fluids are still not drained through the shunt, Doctors have adjusted the pressure and have placed an EVD on her head to collect extra fluids that are accumulating in the brain.

This has delayed the Cranioplasty, she is in Stable condition and is showing very positive signs of recovery Alhamdulillah, for now we have to wait until the fluids are drained.

Doctors have advised to keep her under close monitoring for a week and move to the final stage of her neuro treatment.

We have used all collected funds to pay her current bills we would not have got this far without all your help, we need urgent support from you all to help me in this final push to save my wife's life.

 May Allah Bless you all.

Making progress

Salaam All,

I thank you all so much for your donations and support during this very difficult time,

Over the the last few days the doctors have been treating Rida. For an infection which they need to clear so that they can attach her bone. However due to the original brain surgeries it has been discovered that she requires a ventricular Shunt to be put in her brain to aid with fluid release in the brain, but before they can insert it she must be clear from infection

We are optimistic and hoping in the next 2 weeks the shunt can be inserted and then the final focus will be the joining of the skull plate In sha Allah.

Please share with all your contacts far and wide any family and friends every little helps we've come this far just the final part of the journey left.

JazakAllah khair May Allah bless all of you.

Thank you

Arslan.
