Our team was born from the vision of creating innovative ways that Muslims can experience Islam and as of today, we have created simple and engaging tools utilised by over 15,000 people across the world.
Over the past 18 months our team have developed an innovative system for Ramadan. It combines a carefully designed mobile experience with a range of products that empowers Muslims to create, track and build their Ramadan Legacy.
Our vision for the Ramadan Legacy Project is to change the approach to Ramadan from a one month process to a journey where we develop our spirituality over time.

Year after year, we tell ourselves “This Ramadan, I am going to complete the Qur’an, keep all of my fasts, increase my knowledge and we feel that hope and aspiration to become someone better, for the rest of the year.
But the thing that so many of us are missing is a tool, which not only gives us the “what”, the knowledge, but also shows us the “how” to connect to Allah.
Ramadan Legacy provides those tools required to enhance your Ramadan experience and continues the Barakah of your Ramadan throughout time.
Our Ramadan journey began in 2013 where a young group of Muslims, in a small town in Scotland, came together to produce a Ramadan Action Plan for Muslims across the world.
We aimed to simplify Ramadan through providing an interactive book that was loved by Muslims from New York to London to Singapore. From a spare room in our team member's home, we reached over 10,000 downloads within 15 days in Ramadan 2014. The feedback from our users was amazing.
The journey has only begun.
From 2015 we now aim to take our original idea and create an innovative range of products, whereby Muslims can capture their Ramadan experience and sustain their imaan throughout the rest of the year.
The Ramadan Legacy Project is centred around 4 key products that have been carefully developed with feedback from some of the worlds most experienced Islamic Project creators.
1. App
The App will be free to download on all mobile platforms, all you need to do is create a user account and become a Ramadan Legacy member.
2. Ramadan Community
We are creating an online Ramadan community where members receive a post Ramadan course, reminders, discussions, challenges and inspirational activities to continue and maintain their spirituality from one Ramadan to the next.
3.Educational Website
Our website will include interactive and educational content ranging from a visual historical timeline of Ramadan to enriching authentic knowledge that empowers Muslims with the ilm they require to sustain their imaan.
4. Printable Planner
For those that love pen and paper, we have a printable version of the 30 day action plan in the app, available to download from our website.
The planner includes a simple and interactive 30 day action plan that helps track your days fasted, your salah read and your Qur’an recitation throughout Ramadan.
We have also carefully selected short and powerful daily Ayats, Duas and Hadith to learn on the go.
All of your worshipping activity gets captured in your Ramadan Legacy Board. It is an elegant and dynamic visual representation of your annual Ramadan experience.
You can also set any special aspirations you have and the app will encourage you to achieve them.
During Ramadan when you are most close to your Lord and feeling connected, you can record your emotions and thoughts into your journal in the app. This feature also allows you to capture images and text and share these entries with other users of the app or your personal contacts.
Ramadan reflections is a live stream where you can share your Ramadan reflections with other users across the globe. The app allows you to see how Muslims from different parts of the world are reflecting and performing their Ramadan.
You can also socially connect and interact with your companions. MashAllah to encourage or Insha’Allah to motivate them.

Alhumdulillah last year, in 2015, you supported the Ramadan Legacy Crowdfunding Campaign. Through your kindness and support, we were able to support 150,000 Muslims around the world to fulfil a pillar of Islam - their Ramadan!
In the app over 500,000 pieces of Islamic knowledge was memorised by our users and millions upon millions of acts of workshop were recorded.
What does that mean?

On behalf of the Ramadan Legacy team, as we close this year's journey with final thoughts and future plans, I want to say THANK YOU! Words can't describe how thankful we are for the fact that you joined us on this epic journey. You heard us, you trusted us, you saw our vision and you believed in it too.
If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't have achieved the staggering results that we did this year - Alhamdulillaah.
We have recently put together a media report, and WOW! Some of the figures are mind blowing in terms of how many downloads we have, and how many individual acts of worship were logged into the app. So cool! We'll be releasing this soon InshaAllah - stay tuned.
This is just the start of something epic, and as I write this, the Ramadan Legacy Team are having a meeting to discuss the good and bad of this journey, and how we're going to make things twice as awesome for the future.

No, seriously! The Ramadan Legacy team have put together a video for you as a big, massive, heartfelt THANK YOU for your donation towards the project. Your generosity has allowed us to not only smash our target, but to carry on working hard and making wonderful things happen by the Permission of Allah SWT.
Since the campaign ended we've been reeeeally busy making sure the app has no creepy crawly bugs within it, that our brand new interactive website is up, new content is produced, and that everything else is running like clockwork. We've also partnered up with some big Islamic brands Alhamdulillah.
