Struggling families in Bangladesh can’t have meat but only a few times a year. Many of them haven't had meat since last Eid or not at all. Meat is even harder to come by for the Rohingya refugees in the camps at Cox’s Bazar. Basmah is your connection to people who are really in need of the gift of meat. We source the cattle locally and provide those in need with fresh 100% Halal meat. All contributions from this campaign will be expended on our Qurbani/Udhiyah program.

The blessed month of Dhul Hijjah is approaching and with it the celebratory days of Eid-ul-Adha! Many of us have plans to go to a farm with our family this Eid and uphold the Sunnah of our Prophet (SAW) by sacrificing an animal and sharing the meat. Let us not forgot the members of this Ummah who aren’t able to partake in this blessed act and are in need of our support. We sacrifice the animals in accordance with Islamic principles and distribute the meat to those who need it most. Your Qurbani this year can fight hunger and bring much needed smiles.
Basmah’s plan to help
Basmah is dedicated to helping you fulfill your Qurbani requirements. According to Islamic rules cows and camels can be shared by seven people. At least one seventh of a cow is required for Qurbani to be fulfilled. You can opt to give as many shares as you need or even a whole cow (7 shares) . Please help us bring the joy of Eid to families in need by giving meat this Eid Ul Adha .

Last year, during Eid Ul Adha 2019, we provided fresh meat to needy families in Bangladesh and Rohingya Refugee Camps. A single share of a bull can provides enough meat for many families to enjoy. Our support can provide these people with full bellies and happiness on the blessed days of Eid Ul Adha.
