Omar and Hana and the Box of Kindness!

Omar & Hana would like to invite you to help the children and their families around the world to have a meaningful Ramadan through this campaign "A Box of Kindness" with Omar & Hana. 

The Prophet (pbuh) was the most generous of people, and he was even more generous in Ramadan! 

We wish to bring so much joy and happiness to hundreds of thousands people in need with the gift of food, one box at a time. All donations will go directly to Islamic Relief USA's account.

WHAT IS  A BOX OF KINDNESS?

The Box of Kindness is a food parcel that will be delivered to the most disadvantage families in more than 30 countries by Islamic Relief! Nutritious food will be given to help alleviate malnutrition amongst these families and you can support as low as USD 30 to feed one family for the whole month of Ramadan. The food parcel includes filling staples like rice, wheat, lentils or oil, and often also sugar, canned fish or meat, and dates.

Last year, Islamic Relief USA distributed 2.5 million pounds of nutritious food around the world including 5,000 food packages locally, along with grants for food pantries. Alhamdulillah!

WHO IS OMAR & HANA?

Omar & Hana is Malaysia's no. 1 Islamic cartoon specially made for the young Muslim kid in mind. The songs and stories are written to educate and remind young Muslims about Islamic values and practices in a fun and interactive way.

The project "A Box of Kindness" with Islamic Relief will involve Omar & Hana creating a new animation that shows there are unfortunate children in the world and aim to inculcate the principle of helping others- especially the children in need. The Ramadan special, "Sufi's Story - Never Alone", was launched on YouTube a few days before Ramadan.

SUFI'S STORY - NEVER ALONE

Sufi is an orphaned refugee who fled his beloved hometown for a hope of a better life. His story is often underrepresented, and sometimes, completely ignored or forgotten. There are many children in the world we are orphans but yet, their story remains hidden. 

HOW YOU CAN HELP 

It is hoped that the video will instil hope among us to give a helping hand, especially to those in need. 

By the end of the video, there will be a call-to-action for parents to donate to underprivileged kids and families to Islamic Relief.
