My new book "Nothing but Love"

Assalamu Alaikum everyone! My name is Zeneefa and my Islamic romance novel is close to publication. "Nothing but Love" is a love story framed within Islamic guidelines and it aims at readers who search for halal/modest romance reads. Why this book matters!

When a non-Muslim friend lent me a translated copy of a banned book that elaborated on the experiences of a non- Muslim with her non-practicing, abusive Muslim husband, I strongly felt that if I didn't represent myself, somebody else was going to do that for me, creating a complete mess. 

Through my stories I want to show that Muslims are also human who are at error yet strive to perfect their way of living. I wanted to build stories with strong characters that Muslim readers can relate to.

Walking Towards my Dreams

Completing a novel is a challenge. I humbly feel happy to hold six and counting rough drafts, a dozen of inspiring short stories, half dozen or more Islamically twisted fairy tales, and a few more of children's stories. 

If you support my project, the funds will go towards my costs in editing, cover designing, printing, web hosting, and promoting. Coming from an ordinary family and being a stay-at-home mom, I find it impossible to afford this, which is why my novels are still eating dust somewhere in the corner, including the novel that got through for the second round of Amazon Breakthrough Novel award 2012.

The Project

Being a stay-at-home mom, I know the struggle in pursuing my dreams. But what keeps me moving is the remembrance of single mothers who are striving to bring their children with less support. So 30% from sales of the first thousand copies will be donated to widows in the society, Insha'Allah.
