This winter season MYNA invites you to help us create care packages for those in need. The notion of giving, especially giving and helping the less fortunate, is so entrenched in Islam. We remind ourselves of it in every step we take for the work we do here at MYNA-ATX. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “Protect yourself from Hell-fire even by giving a piece of date as charity.” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim).

Over the next two weeks, we invite you to donate with an open heart and help MYNA-ATX gather supplies for the homeless community in Austin. With your support, we hope to provide basic hygiene kits as well as winter essentials to those in need. As part of this campaign, we will host a packaging session on Sunday, December 16th, 2018 at Nueces Mosque and consequently deliver the packages. Insha’Allah, with your support, we can improve the lives of many people in our community this holiday season.
