Since its establishment 11 years ago, Mishkah University had a distinctive mission - to make authentic Islamic education accessible to all. No longer are students limited by distance and time to learn under the guidance of scholars – wherever they are, they can seek middle-ground Islamic knowledge in a credible and affordable, academic setting.

We are an online University with undergraduate and graduate level programs in both English and Arabic. Through a well-structured curriculum and highly qualified instructors, we are educating future leaders and giving them a solid foundation in the Islamic Sciences. By disseminating authentic Islamic knowledge, with a focus on contemporary issues in the West, we strive to support the betterment of our global society through education.

Why Accreditation?

We recognize the immense trust our students place on us - we know when you choose to study at a University to gain Islamic knowledge, you are making a serious investment on many levels. Having a degree from an accredited institution adds even more value and credibility to your accomplishment.

Accreditation emphasizes a commitment to continuous enhancement. To get accredited, we will undergo a thorough self-evaluation and objective appraisal by an independent agency; the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). According to SACSCOC, when an institution is accredited, it means it has "(1) a mission appropriate to higher education, (2) resources, programs, and services sufficient to accomplish and sustain its mission, (3) clearly specified educational objectives that are consistent with its mission and appropriate to the degrees it offers, and that it is (4) successful in assessing its achievement of these objectives and demonstrating improvements."

Because of its intent in ensuring institutions meet the highest standards, the application process is not only rigorous, but also costly. Nonetheless, we trust that we will succeed with the help of Allah and our brothers and sisters.

• Phase 1: Ramadan 2018 - $40,000
• Phase 2: Summer 2018 - $40,000
• Phase 3: Fall 2018 - $45,000

Your support will have far-reaching effects as a continuous charity. We keep our tuition low so as many students as possible can benefit from quality education; the tuition alone doesn’t cover many of our operational costs.
