The Muslim Community Center of San Diego (MCC) is committed to developing and executing programs to help the needy and under-served people in San Diego county. Our goal is to help individuals, families, and communities achieve self-sufficiency. We run a monthly program to serve meals among the homeless community. We also sponsor annual events to distribute food baskets among the needy, and to support the refugee community in San Diego. 

We are now expanding our meals program to increase the number of people we serve. We are seeking your contribution toward our three projects:

Meals for Our Neighbors in Need

Once a month, we prepare and distribute 150 sack meals to the needy. Your contribution will help us in increasing the number of meals prepared. Each meal costs $1.50 and includes the following items:

Sandwich (Turkey/Peanut butter/Jelly)
Fruit (banana/apple)
Healthy snack (e.g., granola bar)
Juice box/water bottle

Iftaar for Families

This Ramadan, we plan to also open the community iftaar at MCC to the under-served families in San Diego. We invite you to sponsor iftaars for one or more families. 

Ramadan Food Baskets

This Ramadan, we also plan to distribute food baskets to the needy families. Each basket will contain essential groceries (like rice, flour, sugar, etc.) and some fruit. We invite you to sponsor food baskets for one or more families. 

How can you help?

We invite you to join us in providing meals, warmth, and hope to those we serve. You can donate any amount or choose from one of the five giving levels: $15, $35, $250, $500, or $1000. Every dollar you donate will go into providing meals and food items to those in need in San Diego. (A small fraction of the money raised will go in paying the fees for using this crowdfunding platform, and in buying supplies for packing food items.)

Become a Platinum, Gold, or Silver Sponsor: Businesses, organizations, youth groups, and individuals can get recognition by donating $250 or more. Please see the panel on the right for more information.

Anonymous Donation: You can choose to make your donation anonymously. Please check the anonymous option when submitting your payment information.

Offline Donations: You can also donate offline at the MCC office. Please specify "MCC Meals Program" on the check or when doing cash/credit card donation at the office.
