​Help Us Give 1300 Brand New Backpacks to Struggling Children for Their First Day of School.

Do you Remember how stressful the first day of school can be? Now add to that having to go to school with an old worn down back pack while everyone else has the coolest newest school gear in town.

MAS Bay Area has provided thousands of  brand new backpacks full of school supplies to foster children, orphan children, children of victims of domestic violence, refugee children, and children living in poverty for 13 consecutive years. We provide them with the right school supplies in an effort to boost their confidence enabling them to take the first steps towards seeking knowledge

What is in each backpack? 

Colored pencils, crayons, markers, glue stick, facial tissue box, #2 pencils, pencil box, eraser, binder paper and/or notebook, folders with pockets, pens, backpack, an informational card with a written description of the project and its supporters. 

What is MAS Bay Area? 

MAS Bay Area is a local chapter of the Muslim American Society, a non-profit educational and service organization. Its goal is to educate Muslims about their religion in a balanced way while encouraging civic participation, and to partner with other faith and community organizations to serve their fellow Americans.
