American Muslim Community Center (AMCC) in Longwood, Florida partnered with WHY-ISLAM to launch ‘Making America Great’ campaign. Total of 5 billboards are launched in Orlando area. The response is so overwhelming that we are launching this campaign nationwide and will be spread this message across America. Our goal is to install 100 billboards nationwide. We will take baby steps to get there, so our first goal is to secure 10 billboards in different states, with a goal to install 100 billboards across America.

Our 5 billboards were a hit in Orlando and WHY-ISLAM 24-hour hotline received hundreds of calls from Muslims and non-Muslims from all over America, appreciating message of love, compassion and mercy.Multiple callers requested us to put these boards in their home cities. With your help we can take this message from Orlando to your city. WHY-ISLAM have hotline operated 24/7 throughout year so that people can ask questions about Islam from all over the world. The hotline phone number is 877-WHY-ISLAM.

WHY-ISLAM is a project of Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) and their goal is dispel misconceptions,myths and Islamophobic opinions from the hearts of non-Muslim.

This campaign is organized and launched by the American Muslim Community Center with partnership with Whyislam.org. AMCC is a non-profit 501 3 (c) organization and all donations are tax deductible. Our goal is to serve the God and humanity and spread love, compassion and mercy. We serve humanity by operating a free clinic and food pantry.

Together we can spread love, so please help spread the word and donate generously.

Even though we are running a handful of billboards, we noticed that national media like CNN, RT.Com,Mashable and many more media outlets covered this and generated a lot of buzz and sparked a lot of conversations on social media and helped create a strong bond with people. Update Feb, 28, 2017

10 billboards are now live and 16 in the process. Now we are extending the program for another month to add more locations InshaAllah. We have received commitments from local communities to install 31 boards in the following cities:

  • Atlanta, Georgia - 1 billboard - Done
  • Miami, Florida - 1 billboard on I95 to be installed on March 12, 2017
  • Tampa, Florida - 4 billboards on I75 and 275 to be installed on March, 12, 2017
  • Jacksonville, Florida - 2 billboards on I95 to be installed on March 12, 2017
  • Las Vegas, Nevada - 3 billboards on Freeway to be installed on March 12, 2017
  • Atlanta, Georgia - 1 more board on March 12, 2017
  • Ocala, Florida - 2 billboards in Ocala next week.
  • Leesburg, Florida - 2 billboards next week.
