Universal School High School expansion project!

Through the will of Allah, Universal School of Buffalo, NY is expanding! 2018 marks the first 9th grade class of Universal School but with your support, we will be expanding to offer a full high school. Our estimated amount to bring the school up to operational standards is $150,000. Allah has blessed us with an opportunity for our community to continue our pursuit of spiritual and academic excellence.

We have space

Located on the same campus is a beautiful brick building built in the early 1900's that served as a convent in the past. With over 15,000 square feet of usable space and repairs and floor plan changes the space can be up and running by the start of the 2019/2020 school year.  The building needs the following repairs:

• Roof repair
• HVAC installation
• Plumbing and electrical
• Internal repairs

Why this matters?

Now more than ever in this political climate, our students need to develop a solid Islamic identity based on Quran and Sunnah. In addition, we foster the full participation of our students in the community as positive agents of change

Universal School's beginning

We opened our doors on September 4, 2001, and initially offered Pre-K through 2nd grade. From there we continued to add just one grade level every year until we reached 8th grade. While we started with only 17 students, today we have over 140 students representing a diversity of backgrounds. The students not only thrive academically, but we have been blessed with Islamic studies, Quran and Arabic departments that allow our children to develop a love and an understanding for themselves and their Deen.






Establishing Institutions of learning

Our school has been in existence since 2001 and has a proven record of producing high caliber students who are active members in their community. Your donation not only goes to the school but carries the reward of each student that attends and benefits from this educational institution that you have supported as Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity). We genuinely need Islamic learning institutions in our communities to help grow and cultivate the young and vulnerable minds of our children. As with everything there is work involved, Allah did not make Jannah without trial, thus our journey too must come with a trial. We humbly request your support, whatever dollar amount you can to help bring this high school to full fruition. Surely we know, once ALLAH has willed something it will be-we are asking you to come and be a part of it and reap the rewards of this effort-BISMILLAH!
