In other words is a quick-paced game that provides loads of fun while unconsciously helping us wrap our brain around the many, many names, figures and concepts in our religion. By playing the game...those associations get implanted in our brains...even without us realizing it!
This game was made for the purposes of benefit, but it needs to get in the hands of families, Islamic Schools, and MSAs to do so. Buy one for yourself, get a gift for some friends and families, and donate a copy to your local Islamic School and MSA!
It's easy! Get your team to guess as many cards as possible, without saying the five cards on the bottom of the card, in sixty seconds! Whichever teams gets the most cards (points) wins!
"In other Words..." comes in two versions:
Associations are developed just by unconsciously seeing the other words on the card (in this case, tying Sulayman (`alayhi as-salam with the story of ants) -- even if the clue has NOTHING to do with the guess word!
"In Other Words..." is a game meant for benefit, not profit. Created by Lena Khan, writer/director of the feature films THE TIGER HUNTER (now on Netflix!), and soon to be directing a family comedy for Disney, Lena wanted to make time to finish this game in order to help benefit the community educationally but in a fun way. This means nearly every dollar goes toward production costs, and there is no budget for advertising! This campaign was created in the hopes that word will spread and this game will end up in the homes of as many families, MSAs and Islamic Schools as possible.
PLUS, if the game spreads enough, it may attract the attention of larger distributors who will stock it in their stores and online shops!
