The Islamic Circles Supplementary School (ICSS) is an entirely volunteer run supplementary school that operates in the London Boroughs of Newham and Tower Hamlets. The school is open to children of all backgrounds and faiths and we strongly believe that our students (from a range of ethnic backgrounds) need to be encouraged to integrate into British society, and our volunteers play an important part in this as role models.
Despite the fact that we operate in one of the most socially deprived areas on the UK, our rent is extremely high. In recent months we have started working with charities in the area who help refugees and those who have suffered domestic abuse, offering their children free places in our school to help them get their lives back on track. To help us to continue to operate we are looking for funds to help us pay our rent so that not only can we continue to operate, but also to allow students who have enrolled for no fee to continue to not have to pay.
We are a fully registered charity (charity number 1109287) and completely volunteer run. All of our funds go towards helping our students.
