Developing Leaders amongst us 

 The youth. Your future leaders and heroes.The people who will change the hearts of millions, and make this world a better place. How do children transform into our future heroes and leaders? Sincerity. A child that holds sincerity amongst other positive things will develop into an impactful adult.

 Unfortunately, there is an issue for the youth. While many can grow up to become leaders and heroes of a new world. Many can be manipulated by the evils of this world, and begin to destroy us. We ask ourselves how can innocent youth grow into impure souls? The youth imitates everything they see and hear. So, when your sons and daughters are outside of the comforts of your homes, who do they look up to? What have they heard on the radio, and what have they seen on their phones? 

 I’ve spoken to the youth, I’ve sat down and discussed these issues in the communities amongst them. I have learned that they truly have no role model who’s like them. Who’s their age and going through similar struggles. They need a role model, they need someone who can make a positive impact on their lives. I am choosing to become that person for them. 

 Creating this project for the youth will impact so many lives. By supporting this project, you are not only supporting a youth. You are supporting all of us, you are supporting every child who has two potentials in this world. The potential to make this world a greater place, or the potential to destroy everything good we stand for. 

Project Amara 

 They told him, he was powerless. That was before he became one of the strongest men to walk the earth. They called her naive. That was before she was known as one of the greatest diplomats that the world had ever seen. 

  They tell us that compassion, love and honor are assets that make you weak. On the other hand, I believe they are the virtues that will save mankind. Where even a child can overcome the evil that exists in this world. 

  There is a story about such a time. Did you ever hear the tale about the boy who grew into an amazing leader, even though the entire world was against him? Did you hear about his son, who destroyed the evil in this world as youth. It's a tale that touches the heart, and changes the soul. It's a tale about what it truly means to be good in this life.

And who are you again?

 My name is Malik Naim. I am a 21 year old,  singer-songwriter, rapper, producer and poet. I have performed up and down the east coast, internationally, and I have been invited to perform globally in Morocco, Germany and the United Kingdom. I have placed in national and regional competitions of the arts, and have made it through the producer rounds of X factor in 2013. Also, I was invited to audition in front of the judges at the judge's round on America's Got Talent in 2013. I've written thousands of songs and poems, I've written a novel, I've compiled two albums, four mixtapes, and three EPs. I've coached singers, rappers and poets. I've worked and performed on the same stage with Raef of Awakening Records, Native Deen, Dawud Ali Wharnsby, and many others. I've been writing since I was thirteen, and I haven't dropped the pen since. As a child, I only wished to gain a new sense of life. I wanted to see the world in not only one perspective, but in several. I wanted to be able to understand more and judge less. More importantly, I wanted to touch hearts, and change the direction of souls. The gift of writing and creating has given me that blessing. That is why, we need to save the youth. For we are one, when they bleed, I bleed. When they cry, I cry. So, I can't be successful, if they aren't.

 It's so beautiful how you can take some of the darkest things you felt, and transform it into something that has nothing but light.
