​Partnering with Islamic Relief USA to help those in need

Islamic Relief USA’s Disaster Response Team mobilized quickly, moving from helping survivors of Hurricane Matthew in North Carolina to working to bring aid to those now affected in Texas. Their DRT team is on the ground right now helping those affected by this disaster. They will be working with American Red Cross to manage shelters for those in need. Devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey

One of the strongest storms to hit the nation made landfall the evening of Aug. 25, 2017, along the Gulf region—especially pummeling Texas. Hurricane Harvey has left survivors needing to find elevation and escape to survive; boiling potable water to prevent the spread of disease; left without electricity; and now, left to hunker down and ride the storm out.
