This Ramadan, help an orphan in Afghanistan who would otherwise grow up on the streets.

Our goal at the Orphan House Foundation is to take care of needy orphans, especially in Afghanistan. By sponsoring us, you will be providing towards the future of orphans in Afghanistan who would otherwise go hungry and grow up on the street.

Due to the 30 years of war that have devastated Afghanistan, there are thousands of orphans that live on the street and are being used for child labor. At times, they are bought and sold as commodities. 

We are able to provide all our orphans the opportunity to grow up in a positive and safe environment, where they are provided a good education and good mental and physical health. Our hope is that these same orphans will, in turn, become responsible members of their society.

Donors can be confident that 100% of donations go towards the orphans. We rely on grass-roots efforts and funding to sustain our efforts year in and year out - this is why the role YOU play is so critical. 

We volunteer our time, and all of the money that is collected goes towards starting and maintaining the orphanage. All of your donations are tax-deductible as we are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the State of California.

For two years straight, the orphanage has been recognized as the best private orphanage in Kabul, by the European Union.

The quality orphan stewardship has translated the orphanage being recognized as the best private orphanage in Kabul, by the European Union.

Quality-Over-Quantity Approach

Each child is raised with a quality-over-quantity approach. The organization’s tagline is a “home where we raise orphans like our own.”

Each orphan is housed in a safe, clean home and receives private schooling, quality healthcare, physical education, extracurricular activities, and field trips.

Our Orphans

Our newest orphans and family members ages, 10, 9, 7, 6.  Their father died in the war 5 years ago.  During the last five years they lived with their mother in their uncles' house.  Their mother has now remarried and left her kids to their uncle who is retired and cannot take of them.  He has now given the kids to the Orphan House Foundation.

It costs about $150 /child a month to provide for the children for a total of $54000 a year for all 30 orphans.  This will provide:

Private schooling

Private Driver to and from school

Private tutors

Food and clothing

Field trips

Medical needs

After school private English, math, science, and computer training courses
