Cancer rates expected to increase 75% by 2030

According to French researchers, the incidence of cancer is expected to increase by more than 75% by the year 2030 in developed countries, and over 90% in developing nations. The study is published Online First in the Lancet Oncology.

• 1 out of 3 men, and 1 out of 3 women, will suffer some form of cancer diagnosis during their lifetimes, not including skin cancer
• The autism rates have doubled in the last 6 years – 1 out of every 36 kids today have autism
  • Projections show that by 2030, 1 out of 3 children will be diagnosed somewhere on the autism spectrum
• Depression and anxiety are obviously ubiquitous

The Islamic Holistic Outreach Program for Everyone, IHOPE, has designed a plan to empower the community so that we are well equipped for such a crisis.  We don’t have to wait until 2030 to see the devastating result of cancer or it’s diagnosis or prognosis; because everyone reading this proposal has already encountered someone battling or who have battled this disease, up to date.  Cancer has created a fear that is unmatched to any other disease, including AIDS.  Even in the religious communities, HOPE is lost for defeating this illness.  Well, it’s time to return to the guidance of Quran and see that the healing is there as well as the hope:

وَنُنَزِّلُمِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاء وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلاَ يَزِيدُالظَّالِمِينَ إَلاَّ خَسَارًا

"And we have sent down from the Quran that which is a Healing and a Mercy for those who believe and it does not increase the wrong doers in anything except lost" 2;25

 “So, do not lose hope nor fall into despair, for you are superior (in victory) if you are indeed (true) believers.” 3:139    “And We sent down from the Quran that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe…” (Quran, Surah Al-Israa, 17:82)

The HEAL ON WHEELS (H.O.W.) EMPOWERMENT is one of the IHOPE programs that has been designed to enable all participants to be HELPERS IN PLACE (HIP ASSISTANTS) for themselves and those in their community.  Hajjah Karimah aka Belita Rashid, is the program director and Instructor.  Hajjah Karimah is a Registered Nurse with fifteen years of Nursing experience.  She's lived and studied abroad for eight years.  Studying Quranic Methodology and Islamic Eschatology.  She designed this two week program to empower and enable the community, with a detailed course outline, state of the art equipment, hands on demonstrations, and a certificate of completion. This program has been set at an affordable price for all to benefit and attend.  We need the financial support of our community to make this a success.  Your donations will allow us to keep the price at a very affordable rate and open the door for many brothers and sister to embark on this spiritual and physical journey.

What Are They?

The twelve Comprehensive Empowerment Modules are designed to empower each participant with the ability to look at the universe as a whole with man being center essential entity.  Each module builds upon the previous, starting with the creation of man, his connection between heaven, earth, food and spirituality.  Participants are able to see how the Quran has been placed as a guide and answer for all situations facing humanity and how they can apply the Quran to any situation as a guide and solution. 

Part of the program is a hands-on learning experience with field trips to enable the participants to access to the resources sited in the modules.  On completion of the program, there will be certificates of completion given out to each participant who’ve successfully participated and completed the two-week program.  Each participant will we an honorary HIP to serve their immediate needs and the needs of their community.

HOW'S OVERALL OBJECTIVE
A.      Enable the community with the knowledge, skills, and fortitude to aid and assist fellow community members who need health and wellness assistance
1.       Conduct structured educational workshops and seminars within the community that is Quranic based. Give an overview of modern illnesses from an allopathic and holistic stand point.
2.       Hands-on training with IHOPE to insure proper technique and skill applications are carried out correctly.
B.      Providing a strong spiritual foundation for healing and reviving the mind, body, and soul in order to provide the emotional support for both family and the sick.
1.       Addressing health, wellness, and healing from a Quranic perspective with support from the Life of our Prophet Muhammad s.a.a.w.s. and many other Prophetic accounts. 
2.       Looking at Natural healing from modern times as well as earlier generations.
3.       Focusing on illnesses that are prevalent in the community being addressed, especially those that are debilitating and require assistance.

HOW offers a comprehensive twelve module 

"DIY" DO IT YOURSELF = DO FOR SELF:

Our educational system, in its entirety, does not prepare us to do for self.  We are groomed and bred to be consumers looking to others to cook our food, provide our bare necessities, and build for us.  As soon as our health is compromised we want to blame others besides ourselves.  We must become producers and developers from the ground root using all the raw resources that Allah has provided for man, now that is taking one's life and health into their own hands.  This part of the program is where our participants truly feel empowered and independent of a system and dependent upon the creator.  The end product is gratifying and physically rewarding.  

Students benefited so much from going to the farm and seeing Allah's creatio/*n being taken care of as He has ordered in his Book.   The were able to purchase the pure milk which Allah s.w.t. describes in Sura An Nahl (The Bee).  Learning the theoretical side with the practical side really empowered the students and helped them to bring the information they were learning to life and put it in the proper perspective.  

WHY IS THIS PROGRAM A NECESSITY?

Look at the statistics for 2016 alone.  The second leading cause of death after Heart disease is CANCER.  What has happened in our society that our cells are mutating and proliferating at an astronomical rate and becoming the cause of our demise?  By 2030, if we have not made drastic changes in our co-existence with the planet we are going to be extinct.  H.O.W. is here to put our community on the road to recovery.  To awaken the inner self to take control of the external self in order to preserve ourselves on this planet and take our rightful place as leaders and caretakers of the planet and not destroyers.  On completing this program you will feel confident that you are an honored being programmed with all the tools need to inhabit the earth with vitality and strength.
