Empowering the poor and needy in Fez: "Daily Bread" is an organisation aiming to lift the burden of poverty from as many families in Fez as we can. There is no government support for the needy in Fez, and poverty is rife; many are unable to fulfil their most basic needs and its estimated that approximately 85% of those effected are women and children.

What have we done so far? ​

Case Study 1: We have bought one large family,(elderly parents, five daughters and five young children) living on a roof top shank, a home and are currently sponsoring  the only male in the family to learn to drive. We will then purchase a small vehicle for him so he is able to trade in local markets and provide for his family. 

Case Study 2: We have sourced regular cleaning jobs for a widow and her two daughters, as well as fund raise enough money to be able to purchase them a small home, giving them security in their future.

What can YOU do? "Daily Bread" this Ramadan is collecting your Zakaat and Sadaqah ​in order to continue the work of training, educating and empowering those in need through providing long term sustainable revenue streams so they are able to support themselves.
